- In 1974, my dad Alan and his brother Jonathan rode their bicycles from San Francisco, California, to Long Island, New York -- a 4,000 mile, 8 week trek. Hear my dad talk about their adventure, and about some of his fondest memories of the trip.

wonderful idea to interview a parent about a seminal event in his life. interesting to those who would have never undertaken such an adventure.,
great keepsake for future generations in your family, too. ("tell me something about great-great-great- grand-dad alan," they will say in year 2120.)
back in the days without cell phones when he and your uncle were really on their own, going through high mountain desert, etc.
