Must have been very stressful and emotional this first show without Karl for sure .But Virginie has done a great job , very Chanel and i think suitable for clients of all ages :) Beautiful elegant young pieces too without being too young which happens all too easily ;)

I love you Loic. You give great insight and commentary. Especially with couture, where you really show the ateliers and those lovely, professional women, Madam Jeanette, Madam Claude, Madam Lillie etc. etc. who oversee the artisans, and their perfecting standards.

Une video geniale. Le montage et tout le concept de la video est super bien réalisé, intéressant et complet. Merci beaucoup!! J'attends avec impatience tes futurs videos de ce genre ;)
Tout en s'inscrivant dans l'histoire de Chanel, en reprenant tous les codes de la maison, Viard rend un hommage à KL, et réussit à montrer aussi ce qui la distingue déjà. KL a fait pareil à son arrivée, mais avec fracas. VV le fait plus subtilement. Par exemple avec le col en V à 17:21 et à d'autres moments (je pense qu'on va revoir ce V souligné), ou avec ces pantalons courts très contemporains, ces hanches marquées, ces épaules affirmées.
L'histoire du coussin est particulièrement touchante. Comment faire comprendre qui était KL, dans toute sa complexité, un grand créateur et un travailleur infatigable, mais qui ne pouvait cacher qui il était.
Bravo monsieur Prigent !
La dernière tenue, petit clin d'œil à Karl ! Vraiment super et bravo à Virginie Viard. La relève est vraiment bien assurée ! Vivement la haute couture.

I love this new femininity from Viard. Lagerfeld was very inventive and experimental but his clothes were often not very pretty. Viard brings a new prettiness to Chanel and I love it.
