The Fact that they grow so popular and become well-known is great enough. Also they do notice and respect other Indie Game Developer like Scott too in their joking parody post as they're also greatly inspired by FNaF too along with Bendy. That's enough to put them on the Same Level or close to.

Willys Wonderland, The creator said he based the movie on the 80’s animatronic restaurant as he used to worked there and found them creepy. Also his screenplay was written years before FNAF game was even an idea & As for Nic Cage he wasn’t even supposed to be in the movie. The Director, Writer was going to be Main Lead as well that’s why The Janitor never speaks. But a friend said he knew a Hollywood Actor that might play the role.
So WW & FNAF might have similar plots but it was just timing.

I'm not even sure if I'm gonna watch this movie first off because my mom hates this game and also I may be 15 but I don't like horror movies and stuff
I liked the compilation but my ears are hurting right now because of this horrible audio
I want to be positive, but this just seems more cheesy than scary. The series is cheesy, no doubt, but the first game at least took itself somewhat seriously and kept the animatronics scary and the tension high. This almost feels like a parody rather than an adaptation.
I’m sure there saving the scary and uncomfortable scenes for the movie we barley get any animatronic scenes in this trailer. I’m sure they’d save the best bits for the actual movie.

I want to be excited, but this trailer left me a little disappointed.
First off, why did they have to include a little kid in the cast? I highly doubt this movie will have the balls to show a kid being stuffed into a suit, so there's no suspense or tension regarding her safety (and from what the trailer shows, it looks like she actually befriends Freddy). Why couldn't it just be Mike on his own?
Second (and more importantly), the anamatronics want to stuff HER into a suit?! Why? The whole point of them coming to life at night is that they think the adult security guard is the man who killed them and they want revenge. Why would they be be trying to kill more kids when THEY themselves are child murder victims?! The only time they attacked kids in the games were the Bites of 83 and 87!
Third, the restaurant in the movie has already been closed down? Then why are the anamatronics still there? Why the need for a security guard? In the game, the restaurant was still open and the anamatronics were still in use, that's why Fazbear Entertainment (being a greedy corporation) wouldn't dismantle them despite knowing they were dangerous. Here, it makes no sense for them to still be standing.
It's kind of its own universe as it doesn't follow the main story so some stuff may not make much sense. Take the Sonic movie for example
What this comment is reminding me but, Of course it isn't going to be the same as the actual game, which some movies mostly do, i dont know this much but, based on what i think i know, there's obviously going to be changes and its maybe their decision on what to change. I mean, it may disappoint others but still, lol. Just pointing out, no offense here.

@@IronGhost8280I honestly don’t see you’re point? What exactly IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE KID? And the idea you go for MAY seem good on paper but when you think about it, how are exactly are you gonna fit all those scenes in a movie and make it relevant to the plot and not just some random scare scenes for no reason? And once again, movie and games are very different the games may be good at building tension but how do you show that through media? There’s probably reasons why they didn’t do it, some stories or ideas don’t translate well into media without tweaking.
