Are u still studying? Actually I want ask some queries related to architecture..
I've actually already graduated pal, what did you want to ask me about?:)
@@LlyanAustria so what is good doing job after completing bachelors degree for experience or pursue master...
I suggest applying as a draftsman or apprentice in an architectural firm:)
Im actually starting the course this month, ill let you know if your videos were useful 😂
What kind of instrument do you play ?
Me : Architect
cracked me up haha
My mind was blown away with that watercolor hack 😂👌
Thank You!! Haha blew my mind too when i first discovered it:)
It was maddddd
@@farzadjahanfard Thank you pal!!:)
wish i know this when i was in school, just print my 3d rendering and voila
Haha yeah would have made everything faster!!:)
"mounting and dismounting till you have no corner left" 🤣
every single architecture student can relate
Right, right??:) haha this was my number one problem when i was in school!!
realtalk hahahaha
Im not even an architect student haha
Haha what's your course?
Same , engineer student who wished they were architect student
Same. Nursing student here 👋 but that watercolor hack though
@Naxwal Hachad SAME. I am an engineering student who wishes they were an architect student too. I still watch architect hacks and videos cuz I enjoy them so much. Sorry if I am freaking you out, but I literally have not met another person like that. Can't relate to anyone. What type of Engineering student tho?
It's amazing seeing other ppl that relates too! I have a friend who used to study with me and was lucky enough she changed to architecture.I use the ruler hack since see it hahaha classmates thinks it weird.I still didn't choose the field yet (French system) ,hoping to get to Civil enginner.what about you :) ?
haha "don't share this videos to the teachers.." haha
emmanuela 〈3 haha yeah they might catch you doing the alcohol technique.😁
Omg genius
@@wanderer7600 thank you pal!!:)
Plot twist: they did this thing too when they were students.
@@irmaningsih13 they probably did haha!:)
Your last hack reminded me of my same embarrassing story I once hit someone with my t-square and I can tell that person wanted to kill me 😂
Haha yeah I hate it when that happens, it happens way too often for me to admit haha!:)
Paper scale technique (scale and paper)
- determine your most used measurement and transfer it onto the paper
- saves you time because you don't need to look at the scale every time
Tape to tape contact
- cut the tape in half, apply half-tape on the corners, and then apply the second half-tape on top of the first.
- avoids ripping of the plate and no fibery extraction on the tape
Elevating Instrument technique
- tape a cardboard onto the bottom edges of the instruments.
- minimized contact between the instruments and draft to avoid smudges
Color Coding Pens
- Use colored tape to differentiate each pen based on line weight
- To save time
Rubbing Alcohol Drafting
- Edit a photo on photoshop to flip it, print, and lay it face down on a paper to dab with rubbing alcohol. Outline and shading to finish the plate.
- To save time
Guitar Bag Technique
- Use a guitar bag to carry tools
- To avoid accidents and for convenience
That watercolor hack hmm I wish I knew that back when I got 3 or 4 subjects with drawing/drafting in a single semester.
I think I miss being a student a little. Now I’m an apprentice...I enjoy drafting plans and designs but I miss the drawings in History of Architecture and Visual techniques 😵😵
History!! Those were the most fun to do plates:) You can always re-enroll haha!
History plates should be exploratory, not just tracing or mimicking the picture reference.
im a professor!! LOL i will share the forbidden technique
Oh no!! For the love of rushing, dont!! haha:)
for me its innovation, its all about the context of the building and fun learning.
besides kulang talaga ang time sa arki school hahaha
You're absolutely right pal!!:) It's so awesome to see a very open minded professor!!
HAHAHA!
roy de guzman sir wag poooo hahahahahahaha
"im always rushing, and i dont know why" lol relate
Loll this guy is awesome even now he is still rushing based on his fast speech.
Haha architecture gave me the rush habit!:)
This comment
Me: *watching at 2x speed* 😅

I was browsing through YT in order to find some quality content about architecture here in the Philippines and then viola I found you! Thank you for the videos! Hope you create another content about architectural internships and how to be globally competitive. 4th year architecture student here. 😉

that guitar bag really helped me.. thank you very much!
Bloody hell, that ink transfer is amazing
Haha thank you pal!!:)
Must save the vids before that happen hahaha
U r real architect.. Awesome
Sneha Srivas thank you, you are awesome!!:)
Still a senior high student but I'm planning on taking architecture / civil engineering as my future course...SO HAPPY TO DISCOVER THIS 'EARLIER"
I love the content, it’s informative and beneficial to architecture students. He tackles more tips and DIY to help them especially when they are in a hurry. Moreover, his tips are applicable to both new and old students to prepare easily, save more time, less hassle and organize.
The background and the equipment he used is very professional. You can see that he planned and prepared for it and also, it shows that he has been a vlogger for a long time.
The video quality is great, it can be watched at different video settings. As I said, his content is very helpful since the way he demonstrates the tips are clear and understandable. The technical aspect is one thing too, the background eases our eyes, and the equipment are probably high end or semi-high end that it can rendered great quality videos and clear voice.
the printing hack is next level and the guitar bag is magnificent 😁👍Not architect but subscribed 😀
Wow!! Thank you for subscribing pal!!:) It means a lot to me!
This watercolour technique really change my whole perspective 😂😂
Check out the part 2 of this video to learn stuff about perspectives:) thank you for watching!!
Give this guy a medal...I promise you If I got into my dream collage I will pay you tribute for this content plz keep it up
Not an architecture student, but this is one of the best "hack" videos on youtube. A ton of actually really good and helpful tips!
quality content architect!
Jeremy Rivera Thank you pal!! :)
If an electric guitar bag is too hard to find, you can buy a tsquare bag in art supply shops, usually found in Deovir but if you're from UST you can get it at Joli's or if you're in Intramuros they sell at Adam's as well. It's nice cause there's an attached compartment for canisters as well ✌🏽✌🏽 such a great video cheers 👍🏽
Great tips pal, i haven't been to any of those places yet though, but thank you for the information!!:) It is very helpful!
the guitar bag is so freaking helpful!!!! GONNA BUY ONE
Please do more of this! It saved my life
The 3rd tip for avoiding smudges on your drawing I just... I'm still open mouthed.
With all these hacks you're living in 4018 while we're all here living in 2018 lol

You're an absolute legend! Thanking you! 🙏🏼

“Till you have no corner left”
Literally me every time I have to draw
Archi struggles
Haha yeah I wish they made paper that was more durable to tape:)
Dislikes are from teachers!
Yeah man, I'm telling you they're out there plotting to have my channel deleted haha!:)
It's because you think your too good... Too good to criticize other people's design... Fuck yourself dude
Am beginning architecture school in a week. I have a feeling that you're going to take me through architecture school quite successfully.
Good luck pal!!:)
Thankyou Kuys! I am now currently in grade 11 SHS. Thank you for some ideas or information you upload. I know it will be so useful for the upcoming year 😊
I wish I could survive Architecture for my college. Thankyou so much
Big help!!! Freshie here
Ronel John Bato I'm glad I could help!! Thank you for watching😀

Lol didn't realaize it seemed that way till now!!:) good spotting pal!!
Really good video!! You went straight to the point, making it easy to watch and not boring. I really liked your tips, they are going to help me a lot!
Thank you pal!! I'm glad i could help:)
This guy makes me want to become an architect in the future... Thanks for the tips !!!
haha, that watercolor technique. better hide this one. Will make it harder for new students 😂 cause im pretty sure this will trend anytime soon. Especially those who just love to share things on facebook.
I even used to print and trace with light at the back and render it on my own. Or sometimes just plainly print it on thick paper like vellum with low opacity and just do a paintover.
But this is onyl really good if you have bad time management. Else you wont develop your hand drawing skills early on. Don't cheat yourself just because you can. Hahaha
Nice vid. Cool tricks. Learned some new ones.
Thank you for watching, i had a classmate who also does the printing on vellum thing:) kinda hard to find a cheap 20x30 printing service though haha. Yeah, i agree, this technique should only be used in desperate times, not always!!:)
I'm currently working on car drawings and product design, but tip nr 2 is so useful! NEVER EVER going to do it differently. Awesome!
Thank you for watching pal!!:) i'm glad you liked tip no.2. For a second there your profile pic made me think there was a fly on my screen haha.
These tips are awesome I wish I could watch this 3 years ago :))
I want to share it to our gc but wen i saw the water color hack im gonna hell na that thing is a treasure and forbidden hack
Haha sharing is caring tho!:)
@@LlyanAustria hahaha sir now you're making him feel guilty 😂😂😂😂😂
ang lupit nung printed image + alcohol haha, pwede sa thesis pag super tight na sa oras
Haha oo lagi ko ginagamit pag may nakalimutan ako gawin na plates:)
Thank you so much for posting this vid, really educational
that ruler technique saved my life thanks mate!!
You're welcome pal!!:)
Im not even an architect student😂😂

How did youtube predict my current lesson in tle?
Those algorithms are getting better haha!!:)
I didn't even search anything related to architecture
@@sercider that's how good the algorithm is haha. It's like Sherlock holmes:)
Tip Number 7: Learn to use the computer behind you
Like use it as a tracing pad or a straight rule? haha!:)
To those incoming arch students, know that time will be your most important resource. Coffee will be your most common beverage and triangles will be your most precious measuring tool. Always save up money since arch materials and tools are expensive especially that goddamn tech pens and markers. And again if you really wanna survive architecture school, please help yourself and manage your time well. Cramming will not help you and sometimes will lead into break downs, both mentally and physically. I'm currently at my last semester in an architecture school and honestly during the whole year, I learned stuff in the hard way. Do not trust stock knowledge , always be confident and trust yourself.
I found this video a year ago not knowing what Llyan was talking about, I came back a year after I am now taking the course of interior design and remember the hacks from this video. I finally find them all helpful especially that watercolor hack because we have to do the grid technique thingy HAHAHAHA
FORBIDDEN TECHNIQUE = SHAMBABALABEEZ
Exactly haha!!:) How'd you know the secret code for this technique!?
Tagalog kana lang..... Parehas lang tayong nahihirapan. Eh
Para maintindihan din ng iba hehe:)
maybe hindi lang filipinos ang target audience ni sir :)
Rude. Kaya andaming nadidiscourage mag english kasi Filipinos are too mindful of english grammar when even the native speakers such as the Americans do otherwise.
Let's help each other grow nalang. Encourage! : D
Porke non-native ang accent nahihirapan na? Na explain nya naman ng maayos at mas madami pa makakaintindi hindi lang Pinoy.
Not even planning to be an archi student but then I still love your contents it has been my escape these past few days😁
Having marathon on your vlogs
I am a third year at
Architecture student in Kenya. Thanks for this
I'm a C.E. student but I find ur videos superb helpful.
You’re an absolute legend mate haha loved this
I first watched his videos when I was in 8th grade cuz I was bored but now I need his tips and hacks for my freshmen year as an architecture student!😂
Wow! . It will really help me as an archi student. Thank you for sharing!
I wish i've watched these hacks before I even start studying architecture. I'm now on my fifth year and that last hack could've made early archi days easier for me since our dept is located at the 9th floor. I could use the elevators but we only have 2 and a lot of students are already lining up whenever i have subjects at the top floor
Guitar bag is best choice for carrying architecture instruments 👏
You're amazing you're making my architecture student life easier... I love your watercolor hack...

Laht ng vids ni kuya pinapanood ko grabe sobrang nakaka inspired💚
That guitar bag!!! 🤯
Certified design student with all the clever problem solving! 👍👍
Rushing plates drove me to invent these forbidden techniques haha:)
My professor realistically taught me the color technique and it is super useful while applying into models while you need to show graffiti or need to represent a texture on a plain material.
Your professor must be one of the secret no jutsu masters!!:)
