Dragados Flatiron Joint Venture - State Route 198 Girder Crossing

Progress in Motion! Dragados Flatiron Joint Venture Segment 2 crews worked diligently to successfully install 84 girders over 4 nights across State Route 198 in Hanford, CA. This significant milestone marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of the Hanford Viaduct.
Nearly a year of meticulous planning and coordination meetings culminated in this event. The outstanding collaboration among project managers, superintendents, engineers, carpenters, laborers, crane operators, and many more made this possible.
Big thanks to the multiple agencies that contributed to this monumental task, including California High-Speed Rail Authority, Caltrans HQ, Kings County, Caltrans Central Valley District 6, and California Highway Patrol.
