The W-KING is the BEAST of portable Bluetooth speakers for outdoor use in its price range.
NGL but W-King brand is a JBL ripoff brand. Hey! I dont mind ripoffs as long as their durable and future proof.
@@pinroshan020 You would have to hear it for yourself in person outdoors with bass boost off & the EQ properly tuned. Even at the loudest volumes it really does sound good.
@@pinroshan020 As far as being future proof, it has just about any & every connection available on the back of it, including a guitar input. I’m telling you man, this speaker literally has all the bells & whistles. Also has 60 watt fast charging, which allows you to fully charge it in 3 hrs.
What makes the W-KING sound so good at louder volumes is because it has a LINEAR volume setup, meaning it takes gradual baby steps with its volume, which limits distortion at louder volumes.
Having 1 inch silk dome tweeters doesn’t hurt either.😊
I had both but stuck to
W-King because of battery life.
Wking at full volume last about 4-5 hours and the soundcore lasted me 3 and a half hours and Soundcore is just slightly weaker and has a little distortion but at max volume the wking is a little piercing to the ears when youre close to it. Quality sound between the two is tough but using the EQ for soundcore drains the battery a little more
Man I have been scouring the internet for this info. Nobody has done a real world battery test on these. I would also like to see W-King water test, like fully submerged.

Yeah, I’ve been telling people that the X20 would smoke this speaker. The BoomPlus 2 just sounds dirty in comparison to the X20.
Soundcore shouldn’t be charging anymore than $179.99-$199.99 full retail price. $249.99 is considerably too much for this speaker.

There's nothing really wrong with the soundcore, just dropped the price about 75-80 bucks I'll get one.

The Soundcore has a dirty sound compared to the X20. It definitely needs to be around the $179.99 price point.

The main reason for the W-KING’s sound quality at louder volumes is because of its LINEAR volume distribution. Its volume gradually increases over a long course, limiting distortion at the loudest volumes.

Good comparison. There's many that still prefer the motion plus over this boom plus. I rather get the x20 or jbl bb3 for 30 dollars more than this boom plus. Seems to be a lot of hype behind the boom plus, so of course it's going to be compared to a lot of higher priced, regarded as great speakers.But its good to see a more realistic battle,closer in price instead of the fairytales by some other reviewers.Good looks on the video. I might cop the x20 some day.

The W king is king with that price, but in my country for this price range the only alternative is Boom 2 Plus, the delivery of W-King from amazon or any other places is over 150$ to 200$, for me the best decision is Boom 2 plus. After the discount that i have as a member and free gift motion 100 speaker for 70$ the Boom 2 Plus is at 179$ price for me.

Both are good options, but I prefer the sound of the X20. It's also a bit more better quality build with the fabric covering, IMO. Plus it has a microphone jack which the Boom 2 Plus lacks.

Now really a good review. Both speakers should start out with same eq settings. Flat across the board. W king highs set way to high
You can set yours to your own preference. There are a million and 1 combinations. 😉
And BTW, Soundcore Speaker default is Signature EQ. There is no flat EQ option on presets, so flat would have to be a custom EQ.

I need a recommendation for a pair of speakers in tws. I have different options right now: Stormbox 2, Tronsmart Bang SE, W-kingg d320 and Bogasing G4. I have a budget of 110 USD max, so i can afford any of themb only when they will be on discount.
What pair os those speakers would you recommend me, or do you have any other suggestion? Need them fos listen to music daily, pairing to my projector in tws weekly, and throw a party indoor once every 6 months hahahhqhaha.

Well you can adjust the EQ in the app to make it brighter, so it would be fine for indoor or outdoor.

You'll never get a perfect replica of the sound record and compressed through CZcams. I do know when I play back my videos on my PC 2.1 system consisting of an Onkyo receiver, 2 bookshelf speakers and a 10" Monolith THX Select subwoofer, the sound is pretty darn accurate. Not sure what you are listening to the video through, but that will obviously play a big factor in what you are hearing from the video. Hope this helps. 😉
And as far as the bass goes on the Boom 2 Plus, it's not quite in the league of some of the other competitors in this size and price range, such as this W-King X20. 😉
I don't know much about w King but I don't trust it. They have a lot of cheap speakers. It's like going to buy a home stereo and they're like it's a 1000 watts but it's 1000 watts of cheap ass power.
Also, I wasn't trying to put down your technique of recording or this quality. I'm just saying the speaker sounds tight and amazing in person when you own it and you'd be happy and I just think overall it's probably better quality. Longer warranty. Plays in the pool, water dances off of the grill.
Speaking of the grill, it seems it's designed very specifically to deal with water.

How much does the x20 weigh? I had trouble trying to find an answer.
The boom two plus is 8.3 lb a solid but not ridiculously heavy speaker like some of the other speakers like the boombox 3 at 15 lbs. (Corrected)

I find the EQ is very useful and actually makes plenty of change that you can hear. I believe pretty much anybody can find the sound that they want by adjusting it

I believe they are the same speaker, just tagged different letters. The X20 is the US version, speaker by itself. I believe the D20 is the Asian version with microphones.

The X20. However, the Boom 2 Plus did get a firmware update recently and it did improve the power bass a bit, but still not to the X20 level.

The Boom 2 Plus actually isn't really that light. It weights over 8 pounds 4 ounces. It is still lighter than the bigger X20, however.

I’d take the X20 in a heartbeat. For 2 reasons: price & ultra clear & smooth sound at max volume levels. Trust me, I own the X20 & the BB3, for outdoor use, W-KING X20 all day.
The BB3 excels indoors where you can maximize bass response & loudness while plugging it in & getting the full 180 watts that you paid for.

The X20 will have the advantage in bass.. Cleaner sound is a little more close to call. You can adjust the upper range on the Boom 2 Plus is on the warmer side stock, but you can adjust tHe app EQ to brighten that up..

Again soundcore sound more pure and lesser distortion...actually almost no distortion and backround noise at all....king has more noise and instruments are not so clear....
