WGGB member and multi-award-winning screenwriter and producer Russell T Davies talks about his highly acclaimed Channel 4 series, 'It’s A Sin', a dramatisation of the 1980s HIV/AIDS crisis. He was interviewed by WGGB Audio Chair Nicholas McInerny in January 2021.
The best doctor who writer ever.
Second to Moffat, for me, but certainly greatest show-runner.
Guess you were happy when he was announced to be returning, ahah
Ever at any time. #14
Moffat only impressed me with Blink (his first Weeping Angels episode). Everything aside from that has been lacklustre I must say. The stories became seriously cheesy and not sufficiently foreshadowed after RTD left.
I don't think it matters as much nowadays how are you may be infected, it is still terrifying having to wait for the results of the HIV test.
love the cyberman head behind Russell
I wonder if that's the head they used on Doctor Who.
That's the time war. The big exiting and terrible thing that he survived
I’m very keen for a sequel to fill in this missing episode!
Russell Davies is a national treasure.
Great interview!
Another LA! Right here. And he's back on Doctor Who.
I don't think he was that good at Doctor Who. A lot of his stories seemed to end with Deus Ex Mechanica.
HOW is a male body in a woman’s rugby team ok? Jesus Christ, the misogyny.
If ur referring to the inclusion of a trans women in rugby, that's the inclusion of women not men in women's rugby 🙂
This whole hour-long discussion and that’s your takeaway? What’s wrong with you?
