You are describing the exact process I have been experiencing, as a Libra-Aquarius with a Virgo I love very much.... I understand the innocence and kindness because I have witnessed it in real life, for 3 years, and it has been many times I had to check back in with my admiration and depth of feeling for him as he would suddenly lapse into very hurtful tirades directed at me, you would call it verbal abuse.
