pd!! woozi specifically said he used 7 svt songs as samples to create maestro which is why its the best comeback yet and sums up all their success! (not sure if u find this out later in the vid).

I feel like SVT got to a really nice formula to fit everyone in the song in a fair manner. Yes sometimes we have to wait for some members to appear, but it feels satisfying even if it's not a "killing part" per se and it's not one line like it used to be.

Maestro is a song combined of various samples that are composed out of their previous songs (for example: a guitar riff from Adore U, vox from Sonogong, synths from Fear etc.)

i loved this mv, it felt like a movie and after seeing an explenation on twt from a carat talking about how all the mv its a mission to regain the control lost to the AI and how AI cant compare to real artists just blew my mind.
the reason you said it felt like you heard more songs at a time its because woozi said he sampled 7 of them: the guitar from adore u in the beginning, the organ from aju nice, oh my for the choir, fear and rock with you for the synth, cheers for the drum roll and super for the vox sample. i also love that build up so much, its just 🤌🏻 .
fun fact, bumzu gave the idea of maestro a d the idea of svt being conductors and woozi had the confidence in maestro being the name of the song because he feels svt has earned the position with their achievements in the industry and because its almost their 10 th year and all the members still have such passion and drive.
i didnt think anything could top super, like its still charting and last week when they won on music bank, super was 3rd place😂 but woozi did it. he did a live on wevwrse where he talked about all the albums and some behind stories for each era and what he said about super just added one layer of emotion to super:
"during the time around face the sun to sector 17 the members were actually not doing great, not our relationship, just the vibe had no choice but to be bad. so many bad things had happened so it was really bad. my friends also were struggling and i also had a lot of bad things going on.
i really wanted to overcome it and i just wanted things to go back to the way they were. i wrote circles thinking cant things go back around to the way they were?
there were so many bad things that i wanted to become a hero, a hero that could face any crisis and to me that hero was sonogong. it was just a dream of mine, i wanted to give everyone some strenght to get back up. not everyone around me knows the behind of super, even the members dont all know, not on purpose just based on the situation.
i wanted us to win over our hard times through super and with this fml had to be our double title, since we could only curse at the world. so we wanted to be a hero like sonogong and in the fml lyrics theres the line just that in the worlds misfortune i wanted to become a hero to break through this.
and just like a miracle, while making super, the members really became stronger and through the preparations and promotions all the bad things i was going through were resolved. just like the song, our team was able to become a hero, it was a really good memory."
