Chuck E. Cheese’s Great All American Pizza show Lost commercial reanimated! (EXTREMELY ACCURATE)

- Incase anyone is curious about this commercial, In 1979, Chuck E. Cheese’s was doing an event called the great all American Pizza show, A part of that event was an animated commercial that would have aired locally on TV. The only reason we know the existence of this commercial is because of a few animation cels that were used in this ad. This recreation has all 40 found animation cels in it and I think it’s very accurate to how it would have looked like. The audio is from a radio ad that has the same script that the animated commercial has. Every found animation cel lines up with the audio so I really do think this is how the commercial somewhat looked like.
All scanned animation cels are from Smitty’s super service’s collection

@@SanjeyGook Indeed the entire original concept was for the adults and kids to enjoy both, but let's be honest. The place was directly marketed towards kids to beg their parents to take them. And over the years they just made the franchise more and more kid friendly and marketed directly towards them. That's why they removed the animatronics. Frankly, if anything the latest commercials make the place look preschooly and cheap.

I love how you add some twists to the animations that weren't included in original cels that got survived.
I'd be honoured if these were included when the commercial itself gets found on the web someday or in the future.

Well I can half the fotage is from the news sending and the animation is clearly digitale animated and is too hq/HD
it's in 16:9 using a very inaccurate vhs filter, obviously digital, perhaps flipaclip, uses a modern font, and i dont think an official commercial would use blurry images

In all seriousness, the Nevan character mentioned in the description for the video most likely lied to Smitty’s. If that’s the case, that’s sad. If he just saw the title and commercial and thought it was genuine, then that’s an honest mistake. Probably would’ve been worth verifying before sending it though. :/

Even though the animation is missing scenes that had already been shown, it is still incredible how this was done with just a crazy clip (I can't animate a simple ball) but this is spectacular, keep it up!

That is an awesome what if you made. I love the lost media community and I adore the mission of preserving everything. Even Tv commercials. Preservation is very important and I kinda find the idea of making a mock up using what we have to be really cool. Now we may not know how the original commercial will play out as of now. We still have to look for it. I think you should give yourself a pat on the back for making what is a very convincing what if. Now lets look for the real one and preserve it for generations.

Absolutely great recreation but I don’t know if you were told but somebody sent it to Damon Breeland (owner of Smitty super service station )Damon actually thinks it’s real😂😂😂 and uploaded it on to his CZcams channel. The only difference between the one on his and yours is that somebody added a local news bumper before the commercial starts and added a filter to make it look like it was old and I guess that tricked him into thinking it was real but other than that, you did a really good job re-creating this 👍
