I was 15 in 96 when I approached GP in a parking lot in Chicago holding one of his bball cards to sign. GP stopped his girl from talkin to him, who was holding two little kids, and he smiled, said what's up my guy, and signed my card. Still have it to this day.

@@shawnkanhai6091 Lol na (well kinda) Dream Team 2 was in town practicing so everyone was camped outside the gym waiting for sigs on whatever they brought (balls, jerseys, artwork etc) I was heavy into cards so I had all those. Then there was a kid from the projects on his bike who got the scoop on which hotel and floor they were goin to. So later on we snuck up there and I'll never forget the moment I stepped out an elevator and just saw all the guys walking around: Barkley, Hakeem, Reggie, Malone, Shaq, Penny..
Also: The little kid with GP was apparently

Nope. Shaq was a shell of himself. I am a Heat fan and I watched them every night. Go check out Shaq's stats in the finals against the Mavericks. He barely averaged 13 or 14 if memory serves correct. The Mavs weren't even doubling. Zo played a big role filling in for him at times during those 6 games.
