Wow, imagine if that was your bedroom. If it was mine I wouldn't emerge for 1000 years. I would be discovered by archaeologists centuries later playing awesome keyboards for eternity.
Dude! I had to reply. Not only your comment, but your YT name and icon (image,) had me completely busting a gut! :) You had a very comical delivery on that one! :)
Beautiful sounds and such realistic strings. Captures the mood for film clips. Amazing expression on individual instruments. If I close my eyes I can see someone playing the harp or cello. You are a great 👍 musician.
I'm not sure one can get better orchestral sounds. I got these, it was a bit difficult to download, but once it's all set up, it will turn your Kronos into a brand new synth, better than ever. The choir on this is incredible!
Friend of mine just bought these, we were up all night playing them, the sounds are even better when you tweak the reverb/echo a bit, maybe add some EQ, incredible! So good, it's like turning your Kronos into a Super Kronos 3!!! Korg did a great job, it's a bit complex to load the sounds, but nothing that hard, just have to download the demo first, then go to global mode where you set the codes to unlock the demo's, otherwise, they cut off as you play the sounds. I'm going to definitely buy these and more, it's like having a $10,000 Kronos, jam packed with very high quality sounds, I'm impressed!
Only problem is there's not enough ram to have this plus the factory sounds. I was disappointed to find that ssd streaming does not mean you can load 2 or 3 expansion libraries. You must load and unload samples to make room. So u fortunate.
@@basspig ohh 🤔😨😔Too bad! This technology have more the 10-15 years old. They should change to 64 bit system with at least 16GB RAM. For the KApro libraries I don’t know what synth should buy. I don’t want to waste money for such old technology.....What do you suggest?
@@szekerespista3758 I just bought this keyboard new in Jan 2020. Just HOW old IS this model? 64-bit systems have been around for more than a decade. I configured my library and working set after a year. What I have in there is Cinematic Suite, Vangelis sound pack and a converted Post Organ Toolkit. I changed my pianos from the Una Corda piano to the German Dark grand, which is well hidden and not used anywhere that I could see. So I have the Steinway D (German dark grand) now as my main piano set. The old version I saved under another set list item. It's said to be a Beckstein. I also kept the Japanese grand, which is likely a Yamaha C3F. With all that, I have 8mb left. I can cover a wide range of sweeping cinematic orchestral music, to spacy synthy stuff, to Baroque organ music with this setup now. I'm reasonably happy with it. Frankly, I have not touched my Kurzweil K2600 in about a year now.
Great playing, but those sounds are really incredible. I have watched a lot of demos and reviews, but this is the icing on the cake, cherry on top. Brilliant !
@@ErraticFaith I don't know, I've been playing keyboards since the 80's. The age of the machine never mattered to me and good sounds never got tiring. But to each his own.
Milo X Ofcourse sound is still important, if it wasn’t I wouldn’t have kept the Jupiter 8 lol. But if people need to move forward even at all, features and specs do hold weight when balanced with cost. Korg need to release a new flagship. Kronos version SEXDPLATINUM LE just wont cut it anymore. It’s 2020 for goodness sakes and they are already lagging behind DSI by miles with their overpriced Analogue flagship as well 😒
@@ErraticFaith Kronos will be in great demand for many years after today even if Korg closes up shop tomorrow, sort of like several Ensoniq models only moreso. If you are just looking for the latest and greatest in hardware you will have to keep looking to find anything that can do as much as Kronos can. Montage maxes out at 3gb and only has two engines and it doesn't do ssd streaming, and neither does the much ballyhooed Akai MPC key 61. Fantom is the only real contender but it does not come out ahead of Kronos, despite being more than a decade newer. I doubt if it has nearly as much sample memory as Kronos. And Roland synths aren't any easier to learn than Korg units, which I suspect is your real problem with Kronos--you weren't able to buckle down and figure it out... Peace...
It seems as if this korg was made for this guy. Out of all the demos I havevseen done onmthis gear he has really pulled the very best out of it. At seventy I have to say that I look at all that electronics has done for music, and needless to say ,has done so in a short period of time, I wonder if there is any end to what they will manage yet. Gave up trying to keep pace with equipment as one really does need a bottomless pit of money to do so, having said that I consider that I have a collection that gives me real good sound, and thatvincludes piano which I consider the hardest instrument to give an exact copy of when it comes to full size grands, I think they really do have a sound that is very hard to product electronically, but common sence says if that isvthecsiund you want then you need to buy one to satisfy your needs. All in all I havevto say well done Korg this really is a nice sound and if I win the lotto I would be down the road very quickly.
I still have the Oasis it cost a hell of a lot more than the Kronos. When it came out for the first time Jordan Ruddess was doing the demo and he used the Oasis as his go to board. We both felt that Korg was pulling a fast one telling us this was the game changer he said I hope my guy can put all my sounds on it. Well Jordan is using the Kronos as his main board, in fact on some occasions the only board he has... I cant just use one board I need a lot of them because I never learned engineering Im old school I guess. Rick Wakeman told me he once glued the knobs to twelve Mini Moogs and he told me to buy the Kronos yet have a guy
Bill Champoux if you really have the oasys, I feel sorry for you. The oasys is a failed project and an expensive paperweight that nobody wants to deal with on these days.
Amazing sounds and great performance! To be honest, some are 'too repetitive' (Quartet Strings 2) but overall these are wonderful. Makes me want to get the Korg Kronos 2 + this soundpack even more :)
The strings were great, just a suggestion, but try added a bit more decay to each note, as a real string instrument can stop the vibration so quickly. Awesome playing!!!
Ok, wow, nicely played and sounds really good. How much does it cost and how much memory does it use? Keyboards now seem like basic cable tv... ok stuff on board but to get the premium stuff, you have to pay extra. Why not just have these better sounds already in the keyboard? Just seems like a racket lol.
Very nice, however the piano sustain pedal creates an odd transition between chord changes in places, especially noted on the legato string arrangements. I have two of these with the KA products, but never use sustain.. Do it with fingering techniques instead...
Agreed. He has a Sustain pedal fetish. Noticed that on czcams.com/video/M5sxYUPKaIs/video.html with his demos of the organ sounds :) but stil amazing sounds and very well performed demo. Bet it sells some expansions even its pricy :)
