    I love these toilets they are amazing and they have strong flushes way better than the regular Glacier Bay Toilets

    I can't wait to see your flush tests. If this performs like the one in Virginian Toilets And Restroom Tours' videos, you won't be disappointed. I would actually consider one of these if I was in the market for a new toilet base on the videos I've seen already.

    Very cool toilet. I am actually stuck with a 2019 Niagara Stealth toilet right now at a Motel 6 that I have been staying in for about 2 and a half weeks. But the really good news is that it hasn't clogged at all since we used it. It also has a fully glazed trapway as well. Plus, I am actually starting to really like the Niagara Stealth toilets now since I actually did a 25 Foot TP test on it about a few weeks ago, and it actually took it without struggling. It was the 2 ply by the way. Oh yeah. Speaking of the Niagara Stealth, I really think you should find one and have OCC Plumbing and Restorations test it.

    Cant wait to see some tests, one bummer about the stealth system is that if the tank breaks like mine did, a replacement is much harder to source. I havent been able to find one for sale. Minor thing though, toilet tanks rarely break.

    This is the only toilet from Glacier Bay that I will buy. Other than that, I mainly use Mansfield toilets in my new installations.

    I might try mounting a standard tank onto there and seal the vacuum assist port on it just to see what itl do. I doubt itl flush out or do much of anything besides just fill up but itl be interesting nontheless.

    Looking to replace a few toilets, and this one is on my short-list. Do you have any recommendations for modern toilets with a flush as powerful, or more powerful, than this Glacier Bay? I noticed that some more expensive toilets have a worse flush than this one.

      Project Source ProFlush!

    • @Dpower20
      @Dpower20 Před 5 měsíci

      @@BTRPlumbing Oh wow, that one costs even less than the GB one. Will definitely take a look!
      Do any of the big brands have a toilet with a comparable flush? I saw American Standard has VorMax, but that seems to have issues. Kohler has the 360 Rev. which seems good, but doesn't look as powerful as the flush from the GB or Project Source toilet you mentioned.

    That glacier bay toilet seat is what I have at my new house /proflo toilet

  • @hotwheelscarstracksracing6576

    This is one of the 2 best performing Glacier Bay toilets. The other good Glacier Bay toilet is a toilet that is a Highline made by Glacier Bay.

    Even OCC Plumbing said that these are decent. One of Glacier Bay’s only good toilets that they have ever made.

    If the toilet break years down the road for one thing I would call customer service they claim lifetime warranty I would see if they could help. The very worse just buy another one if it preforms and always flushes.

    Is there a way to remove the black plastic thing in the tank?I want to access the air tube? Toilet is a POS, I would not recommend this

    • @BTRPlumbing
      @BTRPlumbing  Před 10 měsíci

      I believe there is a way to remove it but I’m unsure of how to remove it

    • @curtisjackson3010
      @curtisjackson3010 Před 10 měsíci

      @@BTRPlumbing neither does home Depot. But I notice when I use a plunger, the water splashes around in the tank. So I need access to the tube under the black thing. Glacier Bay/Home Depot is horrible to deal with on stuff like this. I think its a clog. But they wanted me to reseat the tank. Which was useless.

    • @BTRPlumbing
      @BTRPlumbing  Před 10 měsíci

      You could try removing the tank. Underneath the tank you will see the water exit and a small tube next to it. You can try removing that to take out the vacuum piece. I’ll try to take mine apart and see how it works to try and help you further

    • @curtisjackson3010
      @curtisjackson3010 Před 10 měsíci

      @@BTRPlumbing wow. Thanks. But I don't want you to break your toilet. Im suspecting Niagara didn't make it as easy on the glacier bay models.

    • @BTRPlumbing

    • @CARma193
      @CARma193 Před rokem +1

      Sometimes they miss some parts that needs to be glazed also I have a AS and the rims aren’t glazed and same with the trapway.

  • @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations

    I don't usually base my opinion of a toilet on the brand name but considering EVERYTHING else made by Glacier Bay is absolute trash, I don't trust these at all. From first glance it looks like a pretty great toilet but I don't like them. It's awesome to see one in your collection though.
