Episode 8 feels kinda silly on first watch because it's a tropey wedding episode, but it's good foreshadowing for Dayu and her backstory, and it introduces Juuzo who's the absolute GOAT.
The shimizan playing monster story is a tragic if common oneIt reminds you of how gedoshu are created in the first place once you find out
