I like this idea! I might skip cutting the edges, and try folding the triangle over on itself and hand stitch it down to make it more decorative so it can be reversible :)

MS. Diana, could you please do a sewing machine up keep video? How often should I change my needle? Plastic vs metal bobbins. How do I clean my machine so it keeps running? Hope it isn't much to ask. Thank you

Thank you for this tutorial! I'm going to try this :) Just one question: for the corner measurement (3 inches in the video), if I were to use a different size fabric, would I just measure at 25% of the "short side" measurement, is that correct? Since 3 inches is 25% of 12 inches

I love this but I would not cut the corners. Then you have raw edges. I would just leave the corners.

Hi - this definitely looks doable! Do you always use double fabric or could you do this with one layer? What would you do differently if anything?

Yes you can! make sure that you hem all the raw edges. I like to do double fabric because of the feel and extra weight. I'm not sure I would do anything differently for this bag.

You could serge the seams for a single layer, then stitch the seam flat

I would have enjoyed this more had the camera focused on the project better to see what was being done clearly.

She describes what she is doing, in a slow manner. Perfect!

Would you help me with the size I need for a large, medium and small size bag. Somehow my math doesn’t work and my bag does not square. The 12 1/2 x 36 1/2 is a little small for my Artisan loaf. Thank you
