It's all about the state of your heart. Everyone does things that are contrary to God when they don't know Him. Until we come to an understanding of the state of man and therefore ourselves, we won't understand. The 10 laws of God were mercifully given to us in order to help is see this very TRUTH. Reading the bible unwinds the wicked matrix this temporal world distracts us with and reveals the truth. But, it won't be revealed to you unless God knows you really WANT to know. Joel Osteen is one of the best preachers because he understands the critical importance of forgiveness and it is pretty much the best thing you can teach. Forgiveness doesn't exist in Heaven because anything that lacks it cannot enter. In order to enter Heaven one must forgive everyone for everything, as all negativity perceived is a reflection of oneself, the bubble of delusion you built which keeps you blind to the Truth. 2 Kings 2 is biblical proof that death is not a requirement to enter Heaven, it is a matter of free-will.
