More Negan is ALWAYS good!
I don't see Negan going back to the fun loving batter up days. He's evolved as we've seen in the main show. But....gotta say, I do miss the old Negan :)
Season 1 showed us that Negan, while he has regrets and has changed as a person, still doesn't see himself as much worse than everybody else. This was true in season 11 of the main show also. He also knows that people aren't just gonna forgive and forget some of the really bad things that he did, and so I think that this season will show him become the leader he once was but not the villain he was as well.
He murdered Glenn in front of his pregnant wife and laughed mockingly while doing so. Who in Rick's group has done anything like that?
@@js1423 Rick's group has no doubt been brutal when offing their enemies. Terminus, the satellite station, the claimers. Glenn personally killed multiple saviors in their sleep attempting to genocide them. Sure, you can say that Negan is worse, but it's only marginally. Especially from Negan's own POV, which I was mainly referring to. He was never supposed to be a perfectly moral character, nobody is in this show save maybe Dale and Hershel.
@@hypergenix1 The termites weee cannibals, the claimers were bandits and r**ists, and the saviors were oppressing communities. Glenn killed a few saviors and felt horrible about it, even though they deserved it
he will be playing the middle ground and maybe sabotaging things
Maggie's son Hershel needs to be a bigger part of the show
Fun fact - After Negan killed Glen/Abraham, he never killed a single person on screen with Lucille, only walkers

I hope you are right about Negan. Just having him go back to his old ways is really going to be waste of last half of his story. But knowing that new character is going to be the main bad guys gives hope to this. They diffently have alot to play with so hopefully they make good choices in story & continue to give a good quality show. It was great to see that they got 8 episodes. It would be very exciting if that is the case for Daryl too.

Well, that's exactly the thing, James...as long as he's ACTING the part of being bad, then it doesn't destroy his redemption arc. If he truly changes, then it will. But, I don't think that's gonna happen.
Kim is an awesome bad guy. This is very cool, watching two of my favorite actors. Kim and JDM. YES!!!

Of course Negans group are bad guys, at least to begin with. The Dama and Croat were taking out the smaller groups, they were not good guys for sure...
People do not want to be controlled. So far there hasn't been a good guy group other than the pigeon lady group, and we got them killed quickly.

@@js1423 Well, he took out Abraham too. Remember, Glenn and his people took out way more of Negans men than just two. Plus Negan didn't bother Rick and Co. at all. I'm looking at Negan with an over all view,and yes, there was a good dude in there, and there still is.

it's hard to see us getting that this season - but I do wonder if they will sprinkle the reunions in - instead of having one big one - since we got one sprinkle with Judith & RJ
