I am so thrilled for her to become sup. for school for deaf. I am glad to watch your story and beautiful. You made me smile. I wish I was born later and learned better education better than in between 1960's to 1980's. Thank you for lovely story.

Sgt tuggles toldme
Wait… let me get it right. She said she is first HBCU graduate to become superintendent. Guess she mean hearing and deaf HBCU graduates. Wow that s big!!!!
No, she talked about black colleges, such as Howard University or Harris-Stowe State University in general settings. No specifics, no targets of persons, no mentioning names, just general.
I would like to add that I've seen one black college from Saint Louis, Missouri. Sadly, there are NO deaf or HOH people available. Mostly, hearing black people. Harris Stowe University is one example of this. Not many black colleges have programs for deaf students, but I hope it will be set up one day. www.hssu.edu/
@@S25Mable yes I am aware of HBCU. I am familiar with Morehouse College. When she said she is first HBCU graduate….. I believe she mean first ever (hearing or deaf) to be superintendent.
@@Steel33Wolf Yeah. I forgot about Morehouse. LOL. But yeah, I agreed with you.
Congratulations!
Yes!! I Did!! Now retired!!! 😄
