This set makes fun candy shapes that you get to grind up and then eat! The best parts of these sets is that you are learning how to make your very own candy. I don't remember what the kit was, but when I was a kid, I had a friend who had a gummy bug making thing, and it came with this really sour stuff you would dip the bugs into and it would harden almost like a shell. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, that ended up not being what I'm talking about. the sour bug shell dip stuff was a chalky light blue color, if I remember correctly.
***** creepy crawlers had their incredible edible line which was a candy maker - although i was wrong about the bugs i know that creepy crawlers did have a make your own candy kits

Hey uh, I got this set back in 2013, took it out today and saw the powders best before date was spring/summer 2014, you think its still good to eat?
We can't recommend that. As far as playing with the set, it is still fun even if you do not eat it.

I remember having a Dr Dreadful thing as a kid. It made these gummy earthworms. I never ate one, but I made them once and gave it to my cousin. It made her throw up.
