I go to the Chiang Mai Gate market early in the morning

This is a great market to get ready made meals to stick in the fridge and microwave latter. Get here in the morning as by 1100 or so many of the stalls are closing as they have sold everything they made. The food is always fresh and made daily and TASTY!!!

Love your video of Chiang Mai market. You go right in and show all the stores and purchase lovely Thai food for yourself. Like your easy commentary too. Thank you for sharing this. We are missing Thailand so much, particularly Chiang Mai and Bangkok. Covid has kept us away. We’ve been going to Thailand for over 35 years. And every year at least once before covid. Thank you!! I do these videos as a way of showing my kids and family what its like here (much easier than inundating them everyday with pictures and videos!!). (Plus its just a lot of fun figuring out how to do them - but mainly its just plain fun!!)

@@ChiangMaiRetired oh incidentally that food you had trouble identifying COULD be a sort of steamed savoury custard with pork or fish. Not sure. Hard to tell. We used to have what I talked about for breakfast near our guest house on Kotchasarn road. Was brilliant. Delicious

I am not sure (you may be right as to what it is). I generally just go into a market and just point to what I want to try that day - and after many years I am still finding new things to point at and try. Thailand is one of those places where EVERYTHING seems to be delicious!! There are a few things - like the sausages where I have learned the names of the various types. The flavors here are AMAZING!!
