Join us a s we travel from Quagi Beach west of Esperance to Cape Le Grand and Duke of Orleans Bay, to the east.
Note: This video was uploaded in HD but for some reason, CZcams has only put up a 360 version. We hope this will eventually be sorted out.

Great video! Beautifully filmed.
Oh man, this brings up some good old memories. I've been there in 2013 right after I graduated from college. I went all the way from Perth to Adelaide. I hope one day I can come back.
Yes, hope you manage to get back, it is a very beautiful area. Plenty around Adelaide that is great too.
Wish I could travel like you...
Esperance is gorgeous.
I am very grateful I can still get out there. My eyesight has been deteriorating and I need to have a driver to get me around now and I also have early onset dementia but I will keep going as long as I can.
One of the nicest parts of Oz. Got to love the stonehenge. Someone should build an Athens Parthenon replica on some hill somewhere too 😎
Beautiful coastline with amazing beaches. I want to go!
Some of the best beaches in Australia we think :)
@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen I agree!
Wow it's quiet, must have been the middle of winter. You were already at the Duke, I hope you headed over to Wharton Beach!
Not exactly winter but we do tend to go away out of the normal tourist seasons to avoid crowds.
wow very nice country dear friend.
I’ve been going to Esperance since I was a kid. Yes the beaches are great but the water is very fresh. Maybe a wet suit for the slightly faint of heart. And keep an eye out for the Noah’s Arks. Lots all around the southern coast. Other than that it’s great. And the fishing is spectacular. Cheers.
What spectacular scenery, ... only 360p tho' ?, full view and first like for this great little vid, thanks & Cheers 👍😎
Not sure what happened with this as it was uploaded in 1080p.
Googled the problem and looks like this isn't the only time this has happened. People are saying that sometimes it takes up to a week for YT to process everything properly so hopefully in time this will render properly. A great shame though as most views happen in the first few days.
Yes it is a shame, haven't come across this issue before, hope it comes good :)
It took a long time but the HD version finally appeared :)
That's great, did drop by a couple of times to check & quell curiosity, good work :)
Good but why not state the cost of the camp sites. This is valuable information.
The reason we don't give campsite fees is that they change all the time. This video is a few years old now and any prices would be way out of date.
@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen Thank you for this reply. But it would at least give us a ball park figure. I find WA, especially the SW is one of the worst areas for free camping. The Councils errect signs everywhere so you are forced to pay the prices of their own camping grounds. At holdiay times the monopoly costs are extortionate and often you have to book months or even a year ahead. I don't know why people in WA put up with this. Of course if one has a 4 wheel drive you have more chance to find a hidden spot, but not all have 4 wheel drives.
@@starcorpvncj The south west along the coast can be very bad and the prices in some places are nothing short of robbery but grab the Wikicamps app for smart phones, it really helps with finding free and cheap places to stay. Because the info on the app is driven by the people who use it, prices, conditions etc. all get updated regularly. Something I just can't do as I don't have the time or resources.
@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen Thanks very much. I am a West Aussie but I've been locked out in Vietnam for 21 months due to Covid with no end in sight. I really don't know why fellow West Aussies put up with coastal councils not bulldozing free camping sites near the beaches. What about families with kids who cannot afford the outrageous prices or people who cannot get bookings. Another big lurk is the State Gov declaring areas near the coast as national parks simply as a ruse to rip people off with fees. Anyway, Cheers.
@@starcorpvncj Bugger, 21 months, that's a long time to be stuck. Hope you manage to get home soon.
