So fortunate that I saw her in concert twice ,, what a strong and determined lady , after tragic events confined her to a wheelchair - her class is ultimately more than top shelf -- RIP
My favorite singer of all time.
MIke, so exquisite! Wesla, love you and will miss you forever! Thank you for your brilliant gifts together!!!!!
So beautiful and I'm sorry that I've only discovered her since her death. My loss but also a loss for us all that such a talent has now left us. RIP Wesla.
An incomparable, unforgettable voice and an an incomparable, unforgettable person. Rest in Peace, Wesla.
A very fine voice but it was at the service of a first class brain. Arthur Owen,Cardiff
I'm so sad I never got to see and hear this wonderful singer in person. So much heart and soul and such a beautiful voice.
Oh, Mike and Wesla --- this is just sublime in every way.
Wesla,, is a great interpreter, beatiful, marvilous.
What an incredible singer and what a true artist Wesla was! Just listen to the way she phrased the lyrics. It is a tour de force! Such an elegant and intelligent singer. "In my life" is one of my all time favourite albums. Thank you so much for sharing this, Mr Greensill. You always brought out the best interpretation in her performances.
An absolutely marvellous interpretation of a deeply moving song - such a privilege to see this from Mike and Wesla !
So classy, so beautiful, every CD they've made is gorgeous, I bought all of them, just the best! Come back to Los Angeles, we saw you in Hollywood at the Roosevelt so long ago. Be well and continue to make beautiful music together.
Thanks for the kind words Debra.....
Thank you.. Thank you.. Thank you!
This singer sidles up to a song, enters, rummages about finding all the hidden corners the composer had put there for the discerning listener, then she sings it and displays those corners to anyone willing to listen. Arthur Owen,Cardiff
