In this musical score we have the Son of Frankenstein, the Mummy's Hand, Black Friday and man made monster.
L.p was released in 1980.

What a wonderful example of Hans Salter's compositions while at Universal. While not of the same caliber as Steiner or Korngold, it is a shame more of his music hasn't been recorded or preserved for modern composers to reference. Thank you posting this.

The score of Son of Frankenstein which was then used for The Mummy's Hand was written by Frank Skinner. Salter may have orchestrated.
All throughout the movie, it's the identical music from The Wolfman.
7:08: now that's a violonist playing the trill...
My favorite part is at 20:10, from the introduction to “The Mummy’s Hand.” The virtuoso first violin could make you cry, although I must admit it sounds more HiFi on the movie soundtrack.
