Dr. Phuong Dao, an Assistant Professor of Digital Agriculture at Colorado State University, will discuss his research on how climate change affects plant health in his upcoming talk. He uses advanced technology like hyperspectral remote sensing and artificial intelligence to study plants in croplands, grasslands, and forests.
Dr. Dao's work helps to understand how plant stress from environmental changes impacts plant functioning on a large scale. He holds a dual PhD in Physical Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto.
