Alright James, hear me out. I’ve been watching your channel since you had the Lotus and I’ve been with you through all your adventures, from the Gallardo, to the Baby Mac, to the multitude of cars you now have.
Just to be watching you have the ability to shop for a hyper car is insane and makes you an absolute inspiration. Now, to give you my opinion on what car to choose we should consider the pros and cons of each car, but also your lifestyle and how you drive and modify your cars.
The P1 is obviously newer, looks like a UFO, is a member of the Hyper Trinity, and, in my opinion, looks much more sleek and interesting than the Veyron. The Veyron of course was once the fastest car in the world, has held a dominating presence for nearly two decades, and has that amazing W16 engine. Both cars seems fantastic, which is why choosing between them seems so difficult.
However, if we then take into account your history with cars, you love to mod. You love to drive. You love to have the ability to take your cars to the absolute limit. You can only really do those things with one of the two present options. The P1. Why? Well, the Veyron was built as a class act, it had the engine with all the turbos added, the rims, the interior, the wing, everything was designed to not need further refinement, it was the peak, the peak of motorsport. Meanwhile, the P1 was designed with both speed and customization in mind. With the P1 you can change the rims without ruining the purity of the car, you can add a full carbon fiber body without ruining the car, you can modify it, you can tune it, you can do basically everything you’d want. It fits your persona and your desires so much more.
With a P1, the $9 shorts would be the perfect contrast, because a P1 is more than a car with presence, it’s a car you can make your own.

Just seeing you enjoy these beautiful hypercars makes me think back to when I got to experience the best showroom in South Africa and all the sportscars and supercars. I have nowhere near enough money to own anything close to a sportscar, but you stay an inspiration and show that hard work pays off. Keep crushing it ✌

Here’s how I would decide:
Veyron- you would grandma it since it’s so expensive and if something broke you would go bankrupt ( or if you have to service or change tires that too)
P1- not as expensive to maintain its like a spaceship and not many CZcamsrs (that I watch) have them of course except for manny. Also since it’s like the Mclaren hypercar for the couple years I think it would skyrocket in value like the P1 did.
Well in the vid he did say a p1 was about 2-400k more to buy than a veyron. Of course a veyron cost more for service but at the same time it’s James, He wouldn’t grandma drive either of them. And in my opinion, you said a bunch of you tubers have a p1, I think the veyron is a better choice cuz he won’t be like the other guys.
The p1 is more expensive but not many youtubers don’t have em. It would be a very sick addition to the channel

A L I think doing that fucks up ur relationship with Bugatti. They’re not mass producing the right tire size for this car, it’s exclusive. While some wheels might fit, they probably will hurt performance. And you’re still looking at $40k for just a new set of tires.
Blep Head $40k twice after 5k miles for the tires and $130-150k after 7-8k miles for a new set of wheels and tires. That’s more than $200k for the car to just be able to roll if he wants drive it 8-10k miles in about two years. Not taking into account Bugatti service cost and all that other bs they make people pay. So yeah, I’d be worried about maintenance cost cause you can buy a car or two/three with that money. Ridiculous!

after all the videos of Manny saying the p1 is his favorite to drive, I'm surprised he didn't recommend the p1 over the veyron. both great options though.
I'd say the P1 because:
1. Costs cheaper than the veyron
2. Has lower maintenance cost
3. P1 looks sicker (imo, not the carbon one but an ordinary P1)
And it’s got happy neighbor mode. Switch to electric and your neighbors won’t be mad at the noise as you come and go!

Fun fact. The test mule for the vitesse veyron was tested to destruction to provide data for the chiron development. The chiron is magnificent but in the end an evolutionary offshoot of the veyron.

@@funguyry6601 How do you think people become and stay wealthy? The answer is by not spending a lot of money on clothes and other stuff that they can save money on and get the cheaper alternatives. If you always get expensive clothes, jewelry, phones, etc... than you'll never become indepently wealthy. So it depends on what you'd rather have.

few that get a veyron get aftermarket wheels and tires and put the stock ones to the side. Makes sense given the cost and very few need the stock ones given they don't go that fast with the car to need the stock tires and wheels.
He’ll get the P1 🥳 He’s smart enough to know Bugatti maintenance will cover that spread in a year with the mileage he does.
Mclaren's are still expensive and a little less reliable in terms of the P1 not as bad as 720s but the bugatti usually costs about $20k for a service yet he might not mind the servicing costs of a Bug.
