I think we need more info in order to follow this story line.... :Pao was married before and his wife left him and abandoned the child? Does he have any more children? Is he now divorced? What are his intentions towards Huong? Maybe Pao needs to step in front of the camera and tell us? There seems to be a lot of anger that he just went with his mom meekly but there is a lot we do not know - like, if this is Pao's son.. and Bon certainly looks just like him, then why isn't the mother nicer to Huong and Bon???? Beside playing with his son, fixing the house, he does very little bringing in income. He doesn't have his own place, either living with mom or uncle, doesn't sell in the market. He loves his son and likes to play with Bon! Is that why his ex-wife left him. Sure, he is charming, but a girl must look for more in a man for marriage.

The mother went away to live with another relative so the house was left to him together with the big lot and garden. The other house was the big house where his uncle and aunt are. That is why they are looking for him, especially the mother, because he's got a big responsibility with the family's assets because the elders are getting old. Pao was away at work or was it studies? I forgot. The mother of wife tried to retrieve Bon, maybe out of guilt but returned him back to Huong due to some obvious reasons. Pao looked for his son when he knew that Bon was not with his wife and that the wife ran away. When he learned that Huong has his son, he went to Huong's place and the first encounter was really awkward because Huong didn't know him and got scared of him and he also brought the authority later to get his son back but decided to leave Bon with Huong to take care of him. Bon already called Huong his mom, they already formed a mother-son bond.
Of all the bequeathed things, it was the bike that Pao got interested at in order for him to easily go to and from Huong's place. He also met an accident on the way home one day and he was not able to go to Huong's place. Huong got worried because Pao is not visiting them for some days already. It was the community doctor who informed her of Pao's accident and his house. So together with Bon, she set to visit him, even if it's a long way to walk. It was the first time that the uncle and aunt met her as well as Bon and they have no objections and even invited her to come again. The mother of Pao tried to pair him with another girl before but Pao said he had a love of his own already. Pao is a grown-up. The mother is not objecting strongly anymore, however they really need Pao to tend the house and the garden.
Pao's place is far from Huong's but he visits from time to time and bringing food, things and gifts and toys mostly for Bon. The mattress, black pig and some chicks are from him and he helps Huong if he can with whatever. He also helped and called his acquaintances to rebuild the bridge to make it sturdier and also rebuild the house after the storm. A big help. Huong needs a man and Bon needs a father. During his absence from his own home and stayed with Huong and Bon, he helped Huong in taking care of Bon at home, while Huong is at the market and helped also Huong to harvest the produce. He worked in a construction to help augment the income, while he's there. Do they have to show that Pao is giving money to Huong? The financial aspect is already between the two of them. Since you don't see, you think there's none?

I know Pao co-owns the house with his mother and will be inheriting his uncle's house because uncle's children do not want to have it. Huong is a good person to take on mothering pao child that his ex wife abandoned. Now they like each other and the mother won't stop butt-in-ski. He needs to tell her he has his own life. She should be ashamed of herself playing on pao weaknesses. She was able to live her😔😞 life the way she wanted and now she wants to control her son's life. She even tried to marry him off once they got to the new house. He wants Huong and bon but she won't stay out of their relationship.
If Pao’s mother can walk all that way to make Pao go back with her, she can do the housework and gardening. He should stand up to her and take care of his son and his son’s mother.
Oh Huong i hope Pao means it that he will be back. I do understand the hierarchy over there & that Pao mother is at the top but it is time for her to listen to her boy and what he wants. I personally was hoping for a better outcome but as i say we cant make the decisions for him. Waiting on the next video with fingers crossed & a prayer in my heart. Choose wisely, PAO and HOUNG! BON is the most important thing here. He is an innocent child. PAO is his biological father and he should be with his son. Houng is the mother he knows and loves. They have to figure this out together because Houng will not want to lose BON. She will most certainly lose him if the two of them part-ways because PAO is his biological father and will fight for custody of him.
Pao is a mama’s boy she will never let him go it’s too bad he could have a good life With Bon and Huong but she’s not going to let that happen. 😞

Pao mother is another one of those mothers who doesn't want to let go,she lies to keep him tied close to her, I know many elderly people who can take care of themselves and with very little help from others and they like it that way, her thing is she wants to pick who he sees and what type of woman she can boss around also

But bottom lime does Pao mom know that Bon is his son an that by her interfering like she does is gonna hurt her own grandchild in the end??
