objectively, yes, but I think its the camera angle and scale of the units and environment that is disorienting

I got the game refunded. This cartoonish looking game is absolutely awful. You're better of playing Knights of Sovereign 2 or Total War Attila (medieval mods) or ck3 or Mount and Blade Warband 1257AD enhanced, or Mount and Blade Bannerlord..etc
There's MANY other alternatives than this childish nonsense.
