I think I have seen some custom jobs of this particular scene but they tend to go for silly money. As you say though, doing the work yourself using this figure as the base wouldn’t be too difficult 👍🏼

Dont be afraid to pose the figure. It should be a platinum silicone body wich is durable than previous rubber or tpe bodies that had that issue. And if it does happen to rip or tear later on down the line, that body is common enough to find and replace. Also if the arms are a bit sticky to the touch (as they are the only body parts exposed) apply a bit of baby powder to the arms. This should make it smooth to the touch and minimize the dust that would stick to the silicone. Thanks for the video.

Hayou/HH Toys have always been a fantastic company. They go the extra mile with quality soft goods and die-cast weapons. They've also made a quality Russell Crow Gladiator and Brad Pitt Achilles. Definitely worth looking into.

I would not called HaoYu Toys a 3rd party considering the prices and the number of historical figures they made every year. If you're in Chinese and Japanese History, this is the main brand for You. The HS here is really off imo (probably the responsability of HHmodel). The hair are strange looking and too long, the headband belongs mostly to the second and shotty movie, the scabbard should have fur with it and we could have more accessories considering the price (father's sword, Thulsa doom medallion, Serpent eye necklace) .
Great review, I've got my figure coming at the start of next week, the body they used is a phicen m35 body which is based on Arnie's physique in Conan the destroyer, ive got the mr toys conan kit with that body & it looks impressive for when it was made

Great Conan headsculpt, not as great as the hot toys T2 by artist K. A. Kim, but, still a beautiful Arnie likeness, . Arnold should do something like Stallone and release an official line of figs of his characters

First of all thanks for posting the review, it's the best out there and reviews like this certainly help us collectors to consider buying the figure before committing £££ My personal thoughts on the figure, the hair is wrong, it's too curled and long but maybe that can be fixed with the help of a good hairdresser! The head sculpt isn't too bad, at certain angles It's definitely Arnie, but with the headband on I feel it kind of changes the figure's features, I would definitely leave mine without the headband on and fix the hair a little. Everyone who is an Arnie/Conan fan will know that this figure (i.e gauntlets tunic etc) is based on the 2nd movie Conan the Destroyer (which was a dull sequel in comparison) but again with some subtle changes, you can have him as the Barbarian or Destroyer. Even with some of the cons, I think it is the best Conan figure produced so far and I regret I didn't buy this on pre-order, it's just the stock photos were completely different from the actual item!!
Terrific figure, third party offerings have really improved I think. Strong headsculpt and more than decent hair😃 As you say with a wee bit of weathering this guy is going to be a really impressive figure. Have seen but don’t remember the film if I am honest but know enough about it to be impressed by this figure👍. Great video today really enjoyed it and I am particularly keen for your new collection tour video showcasing all,of your great recent additions, as always mind how you go 👍
Absolutely 💯 a terrific figure and far better then I expected. Like you I wasn’t the biggest fan of the two films back in 80’s but they have grown on me. It’s great to see 3rd parties upping their game. The new tour video will be going up after a couple more reviews that need polishing off. I notice that the head sculpt in the promotional pics is much less like Arny than the head shown here - is the one that you get the same one shown in this video? Just wanted to make sure before buying.

I guess it’s down to where you source your figures from, I paid less than half that amount including shipping. It’s a very good figure but I don’t think I would pay £450 for it. I get most of my figures from William Wang (including this one) excellent prices and service, there is a link to his Fb page in the description. Happy collecting👍
Not a bad review, but you need to work on the camera focus when showcasing small accessories and details. Same would applyt to the headsculpt. Placing the item on your hand allows the camera to focus thus providing better visibility. None of the dagger/sword details are visible in your review as they are out of focus. I am sure you will work it out for the next time.

After taxes and postage it comes to around £450.A bit too pricey for what you get.
