    Great video! Our church just got this console and I need some tutorial videos on all the features to getting started. Is that out there somewhere? Your video is the only one I can even find specific to this console.

    the 'back' button by default uses live timing thats why it "jumped" as you say. if you change your live timing to something higher you wont have that problem

    Do you have to have console or can you just use the computer?

    Hey I am wanting vista for our church and need 512 channels and I dont know what to do. We are wanting the ex surface and then what do we do. Do we buy the little flash drive thing. Then do we plug the lights into a dmx interface or do we plug it into the board. Does the little flash drive include the software or how do the 512 channels work. I just need a explanation

      Will Johnson Hey! Pretty straight forward! Yes, you buy the physical console, as well as a VISTA License Dongle (we bought for 1024 channels, but you would purchase for 512). The Dongle plugs into the board, and stays plugged in all the time. Then you connect your monitor to the console so that they talk to each other, and there you go! All set! Plug your DMX right into the back of the console and start to patch!

    Thanks for the video. I need some help if you can. Let’s say I have 10 cues, and I edit cue 5. How do I prevent the changes I make to cue 5 from affecting cue 6-10 when I update? I didn’t have this kind of problem on Leprecon or Mega boards. Church lighting 13 years, thanks

    Hey Jeff - Is that little DMX module to the right of the board a Springtree SM-8 SOLO?

    • @jeffboadway
      @jeffboadway Před 4 lety

      Why yes it is! Allows us to control house lights and presets for events, weddings, funerals, or just plain old light for vacuuming the space! We've loved it thus far.

      @@jeffboadway Thanks - Currently we are using a Chauvet 512 plus but the transitions are missing on saved shows so it's quite an abrupt change - also kind of fussy to set up. (Summit Pacific College Chapel in Abbotsford BC) Do you have any tips on assigning groups to faders and effects to buttons?

    how much about price?

  • @icecoldusa
    @icecoldusa Před 4 lety

    Lot work for a service, easier to have e every song as a separate cue list and one cue for the speaker and singers front lighting. House lights always on live tab manual on the intensity knob.

    • @LocalEliminator
      @LocalEliminator Před 4 lety

      Not necessarily. This works if nothing ever changes but requires rather intuitive knowledge of where intensity values are stored. For running a show as a volunteer, multiple cue lists without comment commands as seen on the MA or Hog consoles does provide additional complexity
