In this song RJ plays the guitar without a pick which is the way Mark Knopfler plays ... so in this instance he is playing as Mark would play.
I love the Dire Straits but this is also very good

Ron Joseph (RJ) - lead guitar, keyboard
Raymart - rythm guitar, keyboard
Ralph - bass guitar
Actually the youngest appears once every now and then to play the keyboard. His name is Roymark.
These kids are Filipinos from the City of Tacloban, province of Leyte. As kids they were already playing in small gigs in their home town. In 2013 however, a violent typhoon Haiyan devastated the whole province of Leyte. Their house was washed away thus they decided to walk-ride-walk until they reached the house of an older sibling in Manila. Their father gave them a business card already wet by the rain and instructed them to call the guy in the card as soon as they would reach Manila. They did and were given a regular slot in a small bar. But then a bigger promotions guy saw them in that bar and they were invited to play a couple of tunes in a fund raising concert for the typhoon victims of their province. That was the start of their stardom. They went places - London, USA, Japan, Australia, etc.
I've listened to Rio Brothers for quite awhile. I'm so glad you liked them. I read they came from great poverty. I think they are fantastic! Thank you, for a great review!

As far as any other songs by the brothers just take your pick as they are all brilliant! .. you are literally spoiled for choice!
They are one of the best Beatles tribute bands I've ever seen. Their covers of other bands--as seen here--show that they just love music with a very pure joy. They have very obvious talent, but they also clearly have discipline in spades. By the time we see them play a given song, they know it so well that they make it look effortless.

I'm an avid fan of Dire Straits during my HS days and this is the best cover i've seen so far, and thats done by my fellows country men.
My favourite cover was “Eye in the Sky’ originally by Alan Parsons Project . REO brothers did it flawlessly 🥰

COULD DO WHAT THEY PRACTICE BY THE BEATLES BUT THE PILIPINOS ARE DIFFERENT. BECAUSE THEY CAN GET TUNE FROM DIFFERENT AXIS. PILIPINOS ARE AMAZING.

This song is always a favourite of mine, they do it so well, right? I love your expression Val, I love your comments. Yes it is a challenge when playing the lead and singing at the same time, especially this song. You do get use to it. But I love the glow in your face, they definitely impressed you, and me.

I was very ready to dislike this video because I am a die hard Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler fan, but this is one of the better covers of Sultans of Swing that I have heard (still not MK though....). Anyway, I hope that you have done a reaction to the original before this cover. I will be looking for that on your channel next. Thanks for the reaction video, I enjoyed it.
