Last night we slept in the Bangkok Airport (BKK). We used our priority pass to hop around to different airport lounges, and we took a short nap in each lounge we visited. Sleeping in the Bangkok airport is surprising painless when you have the priority pass and you can access 10 different.
If you use our same strategy you probably won't get a lot of sleep, but it will definitely lead to an interesting night in BKK.
If you want to know what it's like to sleep in the bangkok airport check out this VLOG!

You seem happiest when moving at 35,000 feet, or relaxing in a lounge. Glad to see you back in the air and away from that 'Wicked;' van.

If you have a layover in Brussels Airport, you have napboxes in the lounge where you can sleep privately (max. 24 hours)

Found out the lounges in BKK are no good at all in terms of facilities and food compare to the one in HK and Singapore. Even for THAI Airways, the business lounge is just merely mediocre. It's tough to have a good rest. Love you guys video! Keep on going, guys!

The idea is that you travel for an extended period of time for the purpose of racking up as many miles as you can for the cheapest dollar/mile cost. . . Then once you obtain a whole bunch of miles, you can cash them out for flights and hotels

You can either pay for a membership through Priority Pass, or you can apply to travel credit cards that offer a membership as part of their perks. Chase Sapphire Reserve and American Express Platinum cards both offer Priority Pass memberships as part of their perks. Just note that the Chase Sapphire Reserve Priority Pass membership includes restaurants and the AmEx Platinum does not.
There are other travel cards that offer a Priority Pass membership, Chase and AmEx were the ones I could think of off the top of my head. If you don’t already have a travel credit card, definitely do your research to make sure you get a card that matches your needs and travel goals. Both the Chase Sapphire. Reserve and AmEx Platinum are high yearly fee cards, but their perks offset those costs, in some cases more than the cost of the card itself. It all depends on what you find valuable and would use. The Points Guy and One Mile At A Time blogs are excellent resources to research the different cards and their pros and cons.

There are hotels near the airport (5-10 minute ride) that are less than USD $20. Especially splitting the charge between two people it's a trivial amount of money. Playing this game of roaming the airport to avoid spending $30 seems rather ridiculous.
