- Almost a year into marriage, I finally caved in to try the activity I feard the most that my husband is into- motorycle driving!!! (Although ours' is actually just a scooter-still, to me it's an electric-powered, two-wheeled vehicle with no housing to protect the rider and semplang is more likely to happen than on a 4-wheeler. Sense the tense?!)
But guess what? It was the biggest surprise of my life to date to actually enjoy it! So freeing and exhilarating! (Now I understand why the husband rides around when "were not okay." It is after all helpful!)
More than it being an added life skill and a shared activity with my husband, it brought me such joy to hear his joy, on his tone as he excitedly cheered for me on my first solo ride. The same cheer you'll hear from me whenever I'd see him catch a good, long wave. That kind of asawa-ko-yan proud kilig! (Guess this is already my advance happy anniversary gift to him!)

What a very nice drive and a beautiful bypass road of La Union. I hope you can show us more about the beautiful tourist spots in La Union. Since La Union has coastal, lowland and highland. It is one of the most diverse Provinces in Philippines.
