This video is to enable OSD on your DJI O3
working on betaflight 4.3
displayport_msp_serial value is equal to your UART use minus -1
1) Set the osd_displayport_device to MSP:
set osd_displayport_device = MSP
2) Specify the MSP serial port number. The number here should be the MSP UART TX serial port
number minus 1. In this example, it should be 3.
set displayport_msp_serial = 3
3) Save and exit:

mine is ###ERROR IN set: INVALID NAME: displayport_msp_serial = 0###, even the dji o3 is in UART 1

aint working under 4.4.1 .. wrong command line when it comes to displayport_msp_serial..you need to go in ports tab, and in peripheral for your msp o3 device, you choose the scroll down menu vtx msp + display port...then you do the first cli command you mention here ( osd display port device = msp)

hey is there any other way than using cli because I broke the sub connector from my fc and I can only connect it via elrs WIFI and with elrs WIFI you cant use cli commands
Great video I do have a few questions. I'm running BF 4.4.0 I just bought a Integra FPV goggles similar to the DJI Googles 2. The command set displayport_msp_serial = does not exist in BF 4.4.0. I'm wondering if there is a different command? I still can not view BF OSD on my goggles. I belive you still have to set the goggles to CANVAS MODE HD? Any ideas or suggestions would be apprcieated

Lost all my OSD in the process…. I found in the comment the possibility to select serial = 0
And I did not think it was possible ^^ I only used -1 / 1/ 2 / 3 and 4 but in our case I think we need to put 0 I’ll let you know 👌😇

Tell me what happened when I turned on port 5, betaflight restarted and all ports except 1 turned off. Is this how it should be?
Hi thank you for the video, but for some reason, it doesn't work in my case. I followed the video precisely. My air unit o3 is properly set up, I have checked that. im using Betaflight 4.3.2 and the newest firmware on both air unit o3 and goggles v2. Do you have any idea what I'm missing?
I solved my problem... the wiring diagrams of the dys f4 pro v2 you find online are wrong, or the manual of the dji air unit o3. In case you run into the same problem as me. Connect tx to tx and rx to rx. at least what is labelled as rx and tx, this will solve your problem. NORMALLY ALWAYS CONNECT TX TO RX AND RX TO TX idk why this is so strange if you connect these 2 specific parts.

What i don't understand.
If i update my goggle v2 and all my vistas can i then see the OSD as well? (Not the WTFOS osd i mean the original bf dji implemented with the o3 update??
And does anyone know if there are any negatives because i heared you can't controll Poweroutput anymore? So 1200mw is not possible anymore right? What is it then? I need it still for long range flights and think about updating my goggles v2 and all my vistas to use one or two or quads...thank you

I am able to see my OSD display on my v2 goggles when flying , but for some reason my recorded footage wont show the OSD display. Does anyone know why?
I'm using a speedy bee flight controller and 03 air unit, I don't have a UART open for anything other than my controller, it appears the only one with MSP enabled is labeled USB, would I need to enter a different command in this case?
UPDATE - At first I only had one UART active with the seral rx in the on position. After enabling UART1's MSP button and rebooting I was able to follow the videos' instruction and I now have working OSD. Thank you GelFPV

yes, I did, but not all the rest is still visible. there is no distance, current, and mass of other elements that are exposed in my osd. How do I turn it on completely?
My pavo 20 has osd options like esc temp but won't display gps data till dis arm mode. Any luck for yoy?
I can`t move the OSD elements all the way around.. Like the Grid size is wrong.. Same problem on BTFL 4.3 and 4.4
Yeah mine is too far right and overlaps to the left side by about 1/3. I just moved everything to the left in bf and I don’t use a center point so problem solved. I guess lol

What should I do when the UART port number is 1? Should I enter 0 in the command line or should I enter -1? I entered -1, but it didn't work. Thank you for the assistance.

@@MF_Drones_FPV I found the answer. My UART port is 1, so just type 0 in the command line: "set osd_displayport_device set = MSP". Then: "set displayport_msp_serial = 0".
I was confused because I always got a message indicating that I could only enter from -1 to 40.
Now I can finally see the OSD information on the Goggles.

On 4.4 u can set it on ports tab.
ports tab select VTX (MSP + Displayport) for the o3 uart

nope, but this only works for the "o3" and not for the DJI AU / Caddx Vista
I get error in set: invalid name: displayport_msp_serial=3. In ports my vtx is on 4. My gps info shows up gps data at motor disarm but no gps speed. I do see a compass. Now what? Any ideas I'd love to have live gps speed.

hello! I am using UART 1 but it does not accept "set displayport_msp_serial = 0".....i tried other numbers but it says "###ERROR IN set: INVALID NAME : displayport_msp_serial = 0###" My OSD isnt showing on my DJI Goggles 2 .

@@A3332 i found a solution for myself. I set peripherie of UART 1 to VTX (MSP +Displayport). It was deavtivated by default.

Gone through so many videos and tried the "OSD preset" for DJI and choose UART 1 option and so on... Starting to run out of ideas...
@@A3332 i have a 2 prebuild drones from geprc. I have a very poor understanding of how betaflight works, i just know how to load CLI and set some basic features. So im afraid i cant help you. But maybe you can ask pros on some fpv discord servers
@@johannes3530 I finally solved it.. It was on UART 3 on my chip... But there is a bug on Betaflight 4.4 so you have to disable all MSP, save/reboot and check the VTX+Displayport (if unsure try one at a time until OSD shows).
