Today I reacted to Otyken, which is an indigenous Siberian folk pop band that uses traditional instruments and sings in Khakas, Chulym, and Russian. The members of the group are Chulym. I looked at their latest song "storm".

I have an Otyken playlist of 6 songs. They're super new. They're getting huge though. They're getting millions of views in weeks on their new video. There is an Otyken community post from not very long ago when they were super thankful for getting 100 thousand views. Now they get that daily.

They sing in Chulym and Khakas which are two Turkic languages. They also sing in Russian as they are from there. On their website it says that Chulym Turks are very few and although they're closest to Khakas apparently some Chulym's claim to have some connection to Japanese Ainu people. Apparently Chulym people suffered from a flood like a 100+ years ago and as a result they started to live in treehouses, now most live in Yurts but some elders are still living on trees. They also farm honeybees so Otyken sells some natural honey too.

They perform most of their songs in the Chulym language. Currently, 44 people on the whole planet own it. But they also sing in Russian and Khakass.
I found this band by luck on CZcams and now I'm hooked. The musical instrument that the girl plays with her mouth is called mungiga, or mouth harp in Swedish.
The mungigan is one of the world's oldest musical instruments. Believed to come from Asia and spread to Europe, mainly Hungary. During the Viking Age, it spread further to the Nordic countries. Used among some folk musicians in Sweden.
Russia is a much more diverse county than most people imagine. They are very cool, and a great answer to the cancel culture we are now experiencing against anything of Russian origin!

Siberians are indiginious people from northern Siberia. They have a photo shoot at a cave where their ancestors hunted mastodons. They are related to Native Americans according to their DNA. They live in small towns that are different tribes. The girls are from diffeent tribes.

Британцы делают вопросительные лица когда им говоришь что у них сильный британский акцент, для них смешно, они как бы носители родители языка, для многих уже нет, американским английским забито всё и вы реально имеете "стронг бритиш акцент", с этим гайморитным произношением, как будто у вас забиты гайморывые пазухи и вы всё время пытаетесь их продуть, а они забиты, для вашейпогоды ассоциации подходящие, уже устал угадывать что пришло из немецкого, что из старофранцузского, что напрямую из латыни позаимствовано, что из скандинавских германских, для новичков это прикольное занятие,- найди в английском английские корни, потом скучно становится потому что они все почти лежат в области неправильного склонения, такое впечатление что язык их отторгает, ну свою основу, и всё.
