Game Information:
The Crew is an open world racing game that takes place across the United States. Players are trying to work their way through a criminal organization, competing in events and taking down rival drivers in a bid to be the best driver in each city. Players can tune cars with extreme detail and care, setting up the perfect ride for the task at hand. Multiplayer works seamlessly with singleplayer, allowing friends to help, or hinder each other in a quick jump in/out system.

Just me who wished they continued this in Crew 2 some how, crew 2 just feels like forza Horizon Ubisoft Edition

I wished Alex Taylor returned in the crew 2 who was a very well written established protagonist from the previous game with a very interesting compelling relatable background. Troy baker really did an absolute amazing job in voicing as Alex.

But yeah, it was pretty low, though still better than nothing like TC2 was.
I hate that there's this entire story about street racing and revenge, then the only acknowledgement it gets in the next game is basically "lol, they disbanded off-screen for no reason"
To be honest even then, it still leaves a lot still left to be question from this one piece of dialogue. Like ok, they disbanded, but was it only the Detroit division, or the whole operation? Just saying that "they" disbanded is a very vague term. Also, what happened to Alex and "The Crew"? To be honest I feel Ubisoft just doesn't even remember this game at all.

I fairly liked this game. I was disappointed there wasn't more damage done to your car and how it would visually repair itself gradually in 30 seconds. I loved the cutscenes and the story though and most of the gameplay was pretty solid. Lots of cool exploration. I always thought Alex looked like if Walter White was a racer hah

Let’s be honest, most if not all racing game stories will always have a certain level of cringe, I think what the first crew does is quite interesting compared to the now focus of the passion of sport, buddy buddy stuff etc. I wish this type of storytelling will come back or be improved “cough cough payback”. Bring back rivals, antagonists.
I played Driver SF and get very strong vibes of that from this story. They're more cinematic than other games. With that said, I enjoy SF more than TC1.

When I got my PS4, this was the first game I played on it. I loved the flow and design of the gameplay and customization. As well as the story.
Then, when they announced Crew 2 and I saw that it was nothing like this one, I felt disappointed. How do you go from this to Crew 2?
