What a layout... the town, the selling points, the roads... this is what No Man's Land and The Western Wilds should strive to be. Can't wait to try this beauty out!
It certainly has a nice vibe to it, I think the extra space from the bigger map makes it easier to do it this way than the others have

Really digging this map so far. Has anyone else noticed that once you mow the grass it becomes a field?
This is a perfect replacement for No Man's Land if you are wanting something at a more massive and modern scale. I'll be keeping watch and grabbing it when I can👍👍

@3:15 - Love that USA will be "WTF is 8 kilometres?" & have to google the conversion like we have to 98% of the time 🤣 Bloody Huge! Great for a couple hundred people roleplaying.
Weird AMC don't have their own YT, hate FB. Any idea the area for inspiration? No signs or logos give it away (that I noticed). Perhaps Victoria from the colour of the water at the Port.
Town looks newly established, like a Chinese mining Co's about to move in, all new & clean, no old cars up on blocks in front yards, etc. Needs some people, mangy mongrels & utes environment 👍

Like a lot of people, I've been waiting on this map. Should be a good map as it's obviously been put together by our Aussie neighbours.

I just finished playing on western wilds after almost 300hrs on it, i was just thinking about what if western wilds was more than the standard size and i found this, hell yeah
perfect! This will cover all your bases
This is quite tempting to just get all the biggest machines and put together the biggest road trains but I do miss the smaller maps that was more common in the previous games, they hade more style and character I think. Got started on the Finish map the other day and that's a nice one, a bit rough around the edges but gives me a bit of that old school feeling :)
certainly has a different charm to it than the other blank canvas maps have. I hear what your saying about the character, hard to achieve in something of this size.
@@ArgsyGaming agree, and I get it, it's cool to run the biggest tractors with the biggest implements and the longest road trains, for my five year old no man's land is a way better map than the Finish one. And I put many many hours on NML in fs19 so when it for released for fs22 I was so hyped to play it again but it felt a bit meh, I've done this before. Same with Weller Farm, I played it a lot in fs19 but haven't gotten into it the same way in fs22
But I will definitely give this a try, I have some ideas what to do with it 😃
Just about maxed out No Man’s Land and starting to move pixels around. Might be time for a new canvas. Feels like a western NSW one horse town. I like it.

@@ArgsyGaming Update: This map has quite a few bugs unfortunately... Use the mower to create a field and then once plowed or sewn it has odd light/dark zebra stripes to the soil texture. Use the plow (Y) to create fields and it's normal. Fortunately the stripes mostly disappeared after cropping and resewing... The maximum fertiliser state is always 30 %, so yield-bonus is never above 66%. : ( Roll a field once and you never need roll it again - sell your roller as it's now uesless. Now even new fields don't need rolling after sewing. The long grass on the whole map suddenly "transformed" into very short grass - it felt like I was farming on the world's biggest gold course! The map reverted to long grass after a few hours, then short grass. Now it's back to long grass. Obviously not a lot of testing went into this map. I use the same set of mods as on all other maps and have had zero issues with them so I'm pretty sure it's the map which has problems.
Totally down for this map! Building the yard would be a blast!
will suit some Scorpion powered equipment for sure!
the only little problem i saw is the "pixalated" painting along side the road and tracks.. but that's only my OCD :D looks great maybe I will finish my harvest on western Australia 16x and come here.. maybe one day.
Yeah, thats a hard issue to avoid with the bigger maps and the texture resolution being limited. I think I can look past that though
Great looking map! Kinda looks like where I grew up in NSW. Flat flat flat!! Does it have Australian weather and yields? getting 10+ tonne per Ha for wheat and relentless double cropping isn’t going to be especially realistic!!
Tbh not sure on the crops and weather, would be great if it does, although might drive some players away from playing it
I would have liked to see this as an "ordinary" map, because I think
that it's far too late for a no mans map.
At least for me who's playing on 14 maps right now.
You can surely tell that there's no time for me to create a new farm
and new fields.

My laptop is going to despise me for this 😂 but I can see a vast amount of potential for this map…
haha, apart from the map size, with the limited decoration etc the map performs really well, your laptop will be just fine!
I take to sandbox type maps better. Wish BF,Tx was sandbox map type.
Im ready to give this one a go when it gets released.

awsome map except its full of bugs if they made offical and handed into testing it would of failed spewing hope they do put into testing if they fix it hopefully all the mods work such a good map going to waste

I believe so, TBH I didn't test that but they did have a collision with them so I am going to guess that you can

yes, all the trees across the pasture/field areas
Every single tree can be cut down. For a role play experience its good fun to use fs-minors d7 dozer with the tree pusher
Any custom textures I'd like to off seen a few more gravel roads around but otherwise awsome map very well suited to multi player I think
Not sure tbh, I didn't look at the landscaping menu, would be nice to see a more red dirt ground
