It's definitely Christian media in an unorthodox sense since it's a story about angels written from a Christian viewpoint
It's just done in a more organic fashion of making the angel a hero that protected and saved an abused child instead of outwardly preaching at the audience

If I remember correctly, Gabriel is the guardian angel specifically for humanity as a whole, right? He's also one of heaven's best generals and not afraid to wage war against evil. So, "Angel Gabby" trying to help an abused child get rid of his evil parent isn't necessarily too out of character for the angel.
Gabriel is an Archangel. One of the very few Angel's actually named in the bible. Gabriel was the angel that came to Mary to tell her that she would bring Jesus into the world. His role is that of a messenger, bringing clarity to visions and prophecies. He can also provide details about certain future events as seen in his interaction with Daniel in the bible. This was probably how Gabby was able to so efficiently help Jonah get away with homicide, she knew exactly what to do.
Gabriel's name has two meanings: "God is my strength" and "Hero of God".

Michael is the only angel that is explicitly called an archangel, and he is specially referred to as "the archangel". I do know that Jewish tradition says there are seven archangels (Gabriel is included as one), and Raphael and Uriel appear in the Apocrypha (commonly named as two more archangels).
And yes the only angels that are named in the Bible are Michael, Gabriel, Satan/Lucifer/Helel, and Abaddon/Apollyon. (Demons are just evil angels, and there is also some debate over whether Abaddon/Apollyon is good or evil.)

The best part about this, I think, is that it's an anomalous entity that is not malevolent. It does harm, sure, but it does so to protect a child. The production values and the VA make it a quality project, but the novelty of a genuinely empathetic creature being the one haunting a broadcast make it sing. 💖

The part of Jonah killing his abusive father is definitely dark. But i don't think Gabby herself is necessarily evil. She seems to genuinely care about Jonah and even remembers him years later. I honestly thought the ending was very heartwarming.
I do feel like it’s possible she’s a _part_ of something evils army, as well as Zag, collecting souls but only of abusive parents. It’s also possible she chooses abusive parents but Zag and others just push kids to kill adults.
Either way, it definitely seems like Gabby at least wants to help and stay with kids. Zag seems less interested in the comfort and more in the kill.

It's very "Old Testament Played Straight", frankly. In which just because things are "righteous" doesn't mean they can't be disturbing or dark. It's really good stuff.
Agreed. It's a different take on analog horror, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was inspired by the fourth wall breaks seen in stuff like Dora the Explorer and Blues Clues. Even down to the nostalgic feels when we see our favorite character years later letting us know how great we are doing after all this time.
All signs point to her being exactly what she says she is.

Ultimately, the mystery goes unsolved because solving it was never going to make Jonah as happy as just reuniting with Gabby does.
In situations like this, we tend not to call it "murder." It's a homicide, certainly, but we recognize the constant danger the child was living with and consider it a defensive action. I don't think Angel Gabby is bad.

Something to consider. There's a verse in exodus that says, in my copy of the Bible, "If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him."
I've seen articles online using the verse to say anyone who kills in self defense, or defending innocent people, is innocent of the sin of killing
Edit: I'm gonna preemptively acknowledge the verse specifically says thief. Here's the thing though, thieves don't have to be strangers, and thieves can also be violent. So, I see where the articles are coming from, because, in the moment, if someone sees someone in a place, or doing something, they shouldn't be, it's almost impossible to ask if the person is a thief, trespasser, murderer, abuser, or anything else relating to hurting other people in any way, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Was Angel Gabby using that reasoning to help Jonah resolve a situation that saw no getting better soon?
She's not evil. She will harm and kill in order to protect the one she's guarding if needed, sure. Which is bad in a way, but Gabby genuinely seems to care for Jonah and wants to protect him and other kids like him at all costs. So while her actions can be seen as questionable, she's not evil.

I think the 'horror' comes from what it is implied Gabby is protecting Jonah from, and the lengths she was willing to go
Most of the horror comes from background elements that we do not see, namely regarding Him/Jonah’s father who was abusive.
While we never get to see him or what he did to Jonah, Gabby’s interactions leave a lot for the mind to fill in for what happened which is more of the horror comes into play.
The most long-running horror is life itself, it is full of dread and unexpectancy but there is still hope

Its interesting that his mom tried to go so hard figuring out why he shot his dad, because I feel like it implies that she was either trying to be willfully ignorant of the abuse, or more likely wasnt there to know about it. "Was I left completely alone at such a young age?" paired with his mom trying to 'figure out' why he had an 'outburst of violence' seems like her role was being absent while the abuse was happening.

When I noticed that she's a doctor, I just kind of assumed it was an absent parent situation. From schooling to working, damn busy.
That reminds me of the line about the sun being warm but being able to burn, and to not forget the times it burns. Abusers aren't abusive 24/7 like a cartoon villain, especially when there's other people around
I think that whole part of the story is deliberately left up to interpretation, because even if she knew about it it's entirely possible she was a victim of her husband in her own right and might have been too traumatized in her own right to really be comforting to Jonah. I think the fact that there's so many potential reasonings and they all make sense is a really smart addition to the story.
No lie, the look in Gabby's eyes when she reached out to touch Jonah's hand made me cover up a little whimper bc how lovely that an entity recognizes the little one she protected once and being proud that he's grown into a man. Really kicks a person in the heart. Well done to East Patch and to Stephanie Varrens for her performance.

Currently at about 12 minutes in, and I think it's so sweet that Angel Gabby is deadass just trying to help Jonah and doesn't seem to have any sinister ulterior motives.
EDIT: Okay well she's preparing Jonah to kill his abusive father but I mean to be fair he seems extremely violent. It kinda seems like Angel Gabby knows that there's not really a good option here, and that if keeping Jonah safe means killing someone, then that's a sin she's willing to bear.

You know what’s weird lol me and my husband was talking the other day and I said deadass and then he repeated that word back to me and it actually made me think about the word and wonder where it actually came from because it really does sound so weird like who put those two words together and why do we say it so much lmao
Maybe I'm just desensitized, but my first watch-through didn't leave me with a feeling of dread, but actually one of peace, happiness, a bit of joy. The plot is that Gabby really *is* a guardian angel, who spends her time interacting with troubled kids to help get them out of horrid situations. Jonah clearly isn't the only kid she works with (based on some implications in season 1 and is outright stated in season 2), and she's genuinely someone trying to help out the less fortunate. "Demon" or not, she's a good person. Er, a good rabbit. A good angel? No idea.
Dark in that it's... realer than some of the scares in other projects? Sure. Dark in that the mood is dark, spooky, scary, etc? Sure. But dark in that it's... hard to come to terms with? Dark in that it's horrid and leave you with a sinking feeling? No, it's beautiful. The story felt so... nice and joyful, by the end. The people who worked on this series should pat themselves on the fuckin' back, because the animation work, the voice acting, the story itself, the music, it's all fantastically done. Season 2 doubles this effect and is also incredibly well done. Absolute hats off to all the people who worked on this.
Yeah, that's exactly what I thought too. I think marketing it as dark is not entirely accurate but I get it. I just don't want to see it get shat on by people who want everything to be nonstop torture porn, gore, rape etc. I left a more detailed opinion in the thread up top but I definitely enjoyed it for that reason.
I think it leaves things up in the air early on. "Is Gabby good? Is she not? Is she a demon in disguise?" And then it...kinda heavily implies she's not by the end of the first series, and then in the second it confirms her. Even if she's not perfect, that's frankly, even more Biblically accurate. Angels are not exactly supposed to be flawless. They are *not god*

The entire series felt deeply comforting to me, I'm not religious at all, but it's nice that jonah had someone to protect him. I wish I did too. It is dark, I think. That jonah had to go through that, that he needed gabby. That's dark, it is disturbing that he was abused. But it's also safe, sweet. This series is spectacular.

@@leslieaxtell1397 Yeah, it feels like it's addressing the mixed feelings Jonah probably felt towards his abusive father. It's natural for children to want to love their parents, and want to recieve love in return. But children in abusive families often don't understand that the abuse they're suffering is *wrong*.
Her Sun analogy is on-point. Yes, sometimes Jonah's father can be warm and loving. But Jonah mustn't forget the moments when his father hurts him.
I think the whole "beware of hidden demons" bit was warning Jonah to beware the police rather than foreshadowing that Gaby was up to something. Like, he still killed someone. He still broke the law. And even if he was let go, people would know him as the child who killed someone. So it was best he steered clear of the police.
Either that or it was a red herring.
It’s a red herring, but it also implies that Jonah’s father is possessed by them in their attempts to have Jonah fall away from God.

I NEVER expected to almost cry at an analog horror series.
The way Gabby says things like "we can stay here as long as you need me to" and "I'm so happy to see you again Jonah, look how well you've grown"
It reminds me of all the little things that made my own troubled childhood a little more bearable, and how revisiting those things as an adult feels. Maybe this is just because me and my older sister just had a long discussion about our shared childhood trauma, and unpacking a lot of our experiences with our parents, but this has got me reflecting on the past a lot, really wishing I had my own guardian angel.

You’re spot on with how Angel Hare feels. For me as a young kid, it was Care Bears. I imagined them being with me when I was scared or lonely, a lot like how Gabby was in the series. Thinking back on that now is kinda painful in a bittersweet sort of way, Angel Hare brought a lot of those memories back & I was absolutely tearing up by the end.
Funnily enough I also have a sister who I talk about our childhood with. Things between my family have gotten a lot better since then, but those old shows still get me emotional. I hope you’ve found some peace as well. ❤

I cried too dude. It broke my heart, but in a good way if that makes sense. I was super attached to fictional characters as a child. I always wished they could hear me and be my friend. Its comforting that Gabby was willing to protect Jonah so fiercely.😊
I absolutely agree. I never really felt like I needed one as a kid but now that I'm grown up I'm all alone and I've lost everything I had as a kid. No friends, I live with my emotionally abusive aunt, and my parents aren't really there for me anymore because they're having marital problems. Add that to the fact that growing up they were really overprotective and I never got the tools to make friends, learn or really do anything to prepare me for adult life. I wish I had a Gabby, a benevolent and all knowing friend who'd teach me the things my parents never taught me and wouldn't judge me ever.
I cried because I related so much to the idea of being alone, and even more because Gabby was talking to a child viewer and truthfully I'm still a child mentally. I don't know if this is relevant but I just wanted to say even though we're in different situations I can still relate.
It’s crazy how strangely nostalgic and comforted this series made me feel. Props to Gabby’s VA for making her feel so genuine and heartfelt.
Yeah the concern and care in her voice definitely makes me feel a warmth that I never had.
There is a sense of dread, but everything about Gabby’s design and acting that is hauntingly comforting.
I think it's because the entity is legimately benevolent despite the thing she's forced to do and just wanted to protect an innocent child from an abuser.

I don't feel with fear Angel Hare instead I feel a maternal sense, weird comfort and even some security. Almost something I hadn't felt since kindergarten. Even if I forget. And also a touch of genius to put music to Guardian Angel - mascareque. I can't stop the music coming at the end and something else so genius Angel Hare almost as if he left the video to talk to Jonathan at the end steam... wow wow wow
Big props to Gabby's VA. She really comes across as so caring and protective yet patient with a child.
She also did an amazing job replicating the EXACT distinctive, "teacher like" way VAs were often directed to deliver dialog in educational shows and games made around the time the clips are modeled after
16:21-16:31 This line got a chuckle out of me. Gabby remembers that she’s still talking to a small child with a limited vocabulary, so she quickly simplifies what “incriminating” means like a parent or teacher would. I just found that weirdly wholesome.

The ending is strangely sweet... like no angel should ever encourage a child to do that. But... with most likely how horribly abusive his dad is, had it coming

gabby then ends up vanishing from the stream, and after a looong while, zaggy/zagzagel, another angel hare, but much more "by the book" and stricter, and brown-furred and male, comes to replace her, and ignores jonah, believing it's still a normal broadcast until threatened, but eventually they work together, puzzle it together that gabby's fragmented, because she's trying to help thousands of people at the same time, who are all watching the videos at different times, and in the end, manage to help her become cohesive again, and agree to form a new group, much like the wreath of life guy(s) were "in" on angels existing and stuff, our guy helps them to adapt to the age of on-demand streaming video, or at least that's the plan they form
It's... pretty Biblically correct. Angels are often hands of justice and destruction of evil when they interact and material law is not Godly law.

No gore. No creepy faces. No jump scares. Just pure chills on a level almost anyone can understand. This belongs right up there with Local 58 and Genesis Home Entertainment.
Though the second part is much less horror and more a wholesome finale it definitely is amazing... the fact that the strange being in the show is heavily implied to be an actual guardian angel who really wants to help is super great

Yeah, I actually thought angel hare was more emotional than scary. But it did well on having the normal people be the monsters instead of some supernatural entity.
The line "Was I really left alone for so long?" really hurt me man. When I was little, my parents would go into their room and fight for hours. I wanted to watch the TV to distract myself, but back then I was taught to always ask before I turned on the TV. I was too scared to go into their room, so I would simply sit there for hours. This is truely horrific and heartwarming, never thought I'd see something like it

Watching the entire series, it’s pretty clear that Gabby isn’t evil. She’s a guardian angel, doing what she has to in order to protect Jonah. The entire series is actually quite sweet.
I feel like so many Analog horrors try to keep everything a puzzle and unknown, constantly guessing what’s going on and theorizing. But here, we have something that paces you into knowing, enough pieces to grasp the horror and still be unsettling and scary. Very well done

I think any horror/narration story should have room for theorizing, because honestly, that is one of the major ways to know that people actually pay attention to your stuff.
The problem with theorizing is that it can quickly slide into « find crazy excuses for plot holes » territory - see Jason teleportation ability. Plus, it’s not uncommon for good horror stories to unveil the events precisely enough.
Said otherwise, I find it a bit harsh to say that there’s no horror here because we know that it’s « just » a kid killing his father. I mean, is that a non-horror, normal situation ? What about the awful length of time he spent left alone afterward, as the MC points out ? How much abusive the father was to reach the point where killing him was the lesser of two evils ?
because horror usually derives from the initial lack of knowledge, preying into a person's fear of the unknown, thankfully some actually bother to explain stuff little by little, so there's actual payoff for coming back

A lot of irl occultists who work with angels describe it was "using a nuke to shatter a window"- they'll solve the problem in the most extreme, direct way possible. Gabby is accurate in that way and I love it!

I would have killed for an Angel Gabby as a kid. I think a lot of abused children would have. This has to be the most wholesome analogue horror ever made.
Especially with the second season, you really get to see how beautiful their relationship can be, and like, sure, to an outside observer it's a cultist assisting a supernatural entity commit questionable acts. But to Jonah, and me, and most watchers, I imagine, it just seems lovely and heartwarming.

I really like how this inverts the normal analog horror trope of "object unleashes horror" with "object resolves horrific reality".
The real horror in the first arc of the series is the surroundings. Gabby was only interested in protecting Jonah, even if it meant going against what being an angel is.
Either Jonah would continue suffering the abuse of an evil man, or Jonah takes him out
one interesting part is...how come jonah was the ONLY kid worth making significant enough events for, such as flooding the library, or getting rid of the father?
even if it was only aired in a single small town, I'd expect there to be several such families, and in the ending, gabby struggles, because she's being there for *EVERYONE* in need, which causes her to fragment across the internet...so she would've been there for several kids with normal broadcasts too...yet we only hear about one flood destroying records, and one kid having to defeat family horror, only his mother trying to dig too deep...it's not even hinted as to have more families, even if not in as much trouble, noticing weird things, and try to query the companies...

@@jan_harald Gabby is seen taking extensive measures to ensure Jonah doesn't get incriminated, it's likely the same for others. The reason why there's not that much incriminating evidence is because Gabby tactically makes sure there is next to none.
@@jan_harald there is no evidence that gabby went to similar measures to protect other kids, because she herself planned to destroy all evidence that she could destroy. the only reason that someone found out was because one of the families just so happened to have a VCR recorder recording every episode. without it, nobody would've even dreamed of linking the flooding with a random child with an abusive father. who can tell that no other natural disaster, no other homicide, no other random statistic among the millions, is her doing? the fact that there is no evidence of it shows how inhumanly calculating gabby really is.

The second video made me think Gabby was protecting the little Johan from an abusive father immediately, I didn’t think she’d guide him through something like that though!
What a good series. Gabby is either an unknown entity taking pity on a child, or the implication I like better is that she really is an angel and this was a Dr. Strange situation where there was only one possible successful outcome
gabby/gabriel is a real angel, and at the end, she goes missing, and another angel (zaggy/zagzagel) comes to also search for her alongside our POV character...
I don't think death was the ONLY solution, but it was the solution where the kid had to suffer the least
while it's shown she could cause a flood, it would imply she could also arrange some other sort of divine punishment...but it would also require significant planning, and all the while, the kid would continue to suffer, and that was simply unacceptable for her
And that was killing the dad, because any other way might have ended with more abuse and or Jonha and his mom's possible deaths
The “knock once if he’s not coming back for awhile” made me cry the first time I heard it. Just the thought of what this child is going through is heartbreaking.
Despite how dark the subject matter of this series is, the big thing I was surprised by was how... wholesome, for lack of a better term, the thing was? We ARE dealing with supernatural entities with unexplained powers, yeah, and an angel DID assist a small boy in killing his father, true, but the whole thing was in self-defense; Jonah's father was very likely to kill him and his mother. And it's not the usual expected twist of, "turns out the cartoon angel was a demon!" Gabby seems to be a legitimately benevolent force who cares about Jonah. It's kind of refreshing for the apparently friendly supernatural entity to ACTUALLY be friendly for once.
Honestly, I see the ending here as heartwarming.
Gabby did help Jonah during that horrible abusive childhood, and after all those years, they finally reunited.
This series is honestly a breath of fresh air to the genre in my eyes. Because we have an entity in it that only wants to protect the viewer and not harm them, too often we have some malicious entity in analog horror and the horror in this feels more grounded than most.

Is there anything beyond the original tapes and cases because those were certainly a great watch but i didn't feel any horror elements.
No scary faces, no bullshit jumpscares, no monstrosities trying to take over humanity, just a beautifully crafted, extremely unique story about REAL LIFE horror and the moral dilemmas surrounding it. Bravo to the makers of Angel Hare!
One of the things I love the most about this is the foreshadowing of Francis glitching out after the second mail video. Initially it seemed like it was hinting at something malevolent but in reality it was foreshadowing the effect of them being accessed by so many more people on the internet, which in turn becomes the major plot point moving forward.
Most analog/mascot horror projects follow the general premise of "something innocent tainted into something horrifying" and leans in on the horror, of course
But I love that this series leans more into the innocent part, because it makes it kinda wholesome at some bits, while also making the horror aspects surprisingly stronger in a way.
My boyfriend doesn't normally like unfiction horror stuff, but he sat me down and had me watch the entirety of Angel Hare when he visited for Halloween and I was ENTRANCED. I've never seen anything like it.
I love the tiny detail where her eyes express what she truly feeling and hinting she wants to be aggressive, but keeps calm and patient
Angel Hare is everything Candle Cove wanted to be and more, with an actual story. If this gets even half the recognition of that story it still wouldn't be enough.

This has to be one of the most powerful and emotional analog "horror" series I've ever watched! The idea of rewatching a comfort cartoon from your childhood and then coming to realize the main character was alive and truly did comfort you during traumatic events is beautiful.
Makes me wish I had my own Guardian angel watching over me when I was younger..
It makes you remember all the things you watched yourself as a child that brought you comfort, and how they helped you get through life; coupled with the vhs filter and the cute, friendly animation style, it also brings back a lot of nostalgia and gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. Reminds me of kindergarten during library, when my teacher would put on a Franklin The Turtle or Arthur vhs and the class would circle around the TV, sit on the rug and watch. Great times.

I dont find this horrifying at all. This is amazing. The fact that there's there magical creatures that try to help those in the worst situations in this world isn't horrifying to me its absolutely beautiful.

I love Gaby, she's so comforting and kind, it's genuinely pleasant to watch a horror where a character of the media isn't like a horrific creature out to get you but something that helps the protagonist and acts so sweet and motherly to him
Honestly, I love interpretations that the supernatural elements of horror are the good guys - or at least don't want to actively cause harm to the undeserving. Like the interpretation that the King In Yellow doesn't *want* the play to circulate and cause mass insanity, and only kills those who read it in order to stop further harm.
Idk if it’s just me but there’s something oddly comforting about that angel. What she says and the way she says it invokes that feeling. It’s kind of a breath of fresh air to see this in this form of media
when zag appeared i felt genuine dread and anxiety, the gentle tense stand off, neither zag nor jonah wanting to be the first to move, trying to size eachother up, neither understanding what theyre looking at. this is some of the best ive seen in a long time.
One thing I noticed that has perhaps slipped a mind or two but Gabby=Gabriel. Whether she's meant to be the archangel or a lower angel by the same name is unclear, but if she IS the archangel, that goes a ways to explain her actions later. Gabriel, as I recall, did not have one of the nicer jobs. ;) But putting that across with such beauty and warmth through the charming animation and utterly stellar voice acting is simply *chef's kiss* perfect. Episode one was, essentially, Gabby's "Be not afraid" and I loved it. :)
Nick is absolutely right people should watch the rest of the series, but I do hope there's a part 2 coverage, since I value his analysis on online horror series.
I wouldn’t hold your breath, not because it isn’t worthy of coverage but because it’s… not really horror in the second season. It’s instead presented as a detective mystery, that, while very well done, mostly just exists to answer a few questions and explore characters in a bit more depth.

In a horror subgenre that's suffering heavily from saturation and everyone wanting to one up each other with just how scary and gory their distorted pictures with a VHS filter compilations can be, this series really is a breath of fresh air and despite the paranormal aspect, helps to introduce a more unsettling fear than weird things lurking in the dark. Was surprised this video didn't mention the tie in game which is how a good chunk of people found out about the series thanks to Manlybadasshero's playthrough though. Regardless glad this project's getting more attention bc it's too underrated for the amount of effort it has put into it

With YT getting increasingly flooded by formulaic, low-effort garbage (AKA the only thing the algorithm is recommending nowadays), gems like Angel Hare tend to get lost in the shuffle which honestly makes me appreciate your channel all the more.

I found out Angel Hare after watching another youtuber, ManlyBadassHero, do a let's play on an Angel Hair Edutainment game. Through him, I learned about Angel Gabby and watched all the videos about her. It was so sweet, so nice, and so unique compared to Analog Horror that I didn't think you would go over this. (mainly because it's too wholesome to be scary)
I think the demon thing is a red herring.
That said, I find it refreshing that a horror story focuses on very real and very human threats. Supernatural threats are spooky and crazy but real horror is knowing that the most depraved and monstrous person in fiction likely exists in real life. There are plenty of people that lived this horror and had no help. Truly terrifying stuff
Can we talk about how effective the soundtrack has been in this series so far? I always feel like musical selections in projects like these are never given the recognition they deserve.

Edit:.. Well that's new! DELIGHTFULLY new even!.. is this an ACTUAL Angel?.. responding to what is clearly a child in distress, going through something at home and showing them how to be safe.. I hope more series take this angle in the future!.. It's lovely to see stories where the paranormal isn't inherently evil

Purely wants to help her charge stay safe.. maybe taking the punishment from on high for what she encouraged the child to do in order to *save* him. It's beautiful, and sad and explains why she's no longer around.. a guardian angel and a child both in a horrible situation
I like that the tape that Jonah found at the thrift store is normal, instead of them being some ooky spooky corruption just lying around in a bargain bin for some reason. a good way to play with an old trope
This is honestly the cutest and sweetest analog horror I've seen. Gabby being happy to have Jonah back was heartwarming. Now I expect season 2 to make this utterly terrifying.
I've seen Season 2... it doesn't. If anything, it ends on an equally wholesome note.

I saw the title of “The Darkest Animated Analog Horror Series” and rolled my eyes, but then I saw it was Night Mind and I was like “Oh this is actually gonna be horrific isn’t it”

The final tape of the first arc is just so heartwarming, when her hand touched the screen, I almost cried out of nowhere. man my heart is soft
What I especially like about Night Mind is that he doesn't just explain the mystery, he reviews and critiques the method of delivery from all angles. I'm currently planning out my own unfiction project, and it's giving me a lot of tips and knowledge on how to approach it
This is the most well animated Analog horror cartoon I've ever seen. They are typically still images or with very limited movement.
21:18 so far it's mostly in line with how a guardian angel could act. Especially if they don't have a good understanding of humans.

That ending, with that gospel music, with that livestream, and that part of Gabby recognizing Jonah after all these years, and even literally breaking out of the old animation to become much more fluid, as if she was finally set free, and finally:

As someone who grew up in this environment this is the exact advice I would give a child in it. (If you get angry at that you either have never been in this situation ( in which case I'm happy for you, sincerely) or you have some regrets for actions not taken in your past.

I love how darn wholesome this series is, relatively. It definitely touches on heavy topics and has some creepy moments, but the overall tone is very hopeful, the entities are benevolent, and good ultimately triumphs in the end. I adore Angel Hare.
i hope we start seeing more unfiction series like this! i love how it starts out as a cliche found footage story but did a 180 and ended up being fairly wholesome. a lot of analog horror series are based on unsolved mysteries/puzzles and i like how this one actually answers a lot of the questions presented
I was there for most of the Angel Hare coverage on stream, and ended up watching the whole series myself before watching the finale. It's SO good. I'm glad this one's getting officially covered!

As someonw who went theough something very difficult as a child, watching/hearing Angel Gabby talk brings me back to howni viewed many creepypasta's (specifically Rap rat) as a child, an escape, a protector, a friend even though they never spoke to me or weren't real in any way shape or form
I love how they never even straight up answer the question of if Gabby is a legit guardian angel or something else, at least in the first season of it.

I love that for the livestream video, it seems like at the end the animation gets higher qualtity, such as shading and more complex poses and action. Almost like Gabby is becoming more real or being brought into the modern day

My normal reaction to when a creator is reviewing another person's art and says, "Go watch that and then come back." is "Nah, I'm good." But something about your inflection, or the way you described it with awe which I could hear in your voice on how memorable this was going to be, made me take pause and go watch Angel Hare. Honestly, I could not be any more creeped out yet, satisfied and happy that I did that. Because holy c*** was this unnerving as hell. My skin actually crawled at times. It was brilliant. I wish the second season was more developed, but that first season literally sent chills down my spine. Knowing that Jonah has hysterical amnesia based on tragic events, we were on that journey of mystery with him, and that reveal just completely blew my socks off. Thank you for not giving it away toward the end till the end of your video. They have created something fantastic here. And I hope that they continue to do so. Maybe even through a Kickstarter or some kind of campaign that they can fund it not only through the patreon, but knowing how Kickstarter has been promoting in the artist. It would be a blessing to see more of this. You now have a subscriber for life as well. Thank you for introducing me to this.
