It's the region that have problems of getting PSN. It is not Sony fault that the government in those regions wont allow PSN. Just like China doesn't allow Instagram and Facebook.

When everyone was celebrating the victory against Sony, I've been telling them it's a hollow victory. It won't change anything in the long run. Next PS on PC release will make it explicitly clear that a PSN account it required and they won't left the devs turn off the requirement even if it doesn't work on release. They'll also be sure not to sell in non-PSN countries. Sony not relisting Helldivers 2 is basically them saying to themselves, "this is what things will look like in the future." Maybe they're just testing out what sales on the PC side will look like if they don't sell in non-PSN countries, or they've decided they don't want to give non-psn country gamers the impression that future Sony titles will be available to them by relisting Helldivers 2.
My review remains negative until all countries are re-listed.

Eagle Airstrike is the Swiss Army Knife of stratigens. Kills all bugs all bots even tanks and hulks. Can take down a danmged bile titan. Bot factories and bug holes. The only thing it cant finish off is the gunship factories. Plus you get infinte strikes with the odd 2xmin resupply inbetween. Never dive without one.
I think orbital precision is better as jack of all trades. You get 4 per 5 mins and it's strong enough to one shot bike titans and destroy the big bot buildings.

@@patrickhamos2987 i guess I should have taken into account i use sentries a ton so i know exactly what surfaces stick. I've even gotten to the point from throwing so many sentries on rocks and automatons that i know exactly where the sticky spots are. getting an autocannon on top of a factory strider works pretty well.
My favorite has to be the 500 Kg. Nothing like seeing 500 kilograms of freedom blow shit up.

-PSN wasn't enforced beyond the absolute start and was poorly advertised afterward, making people attached to a game and then forcing people to either make a PSN account or stop playing the game is not very popular.
-Sony has had quite a lot of data breaches over the years, which isn't incredibly uncommon or anything, but putting your info in places where it isn't needed is very unpopular.
-Not all countries can make PSN accounts, yet they sold to people in those countries at the start, which I'm pretty sure counts as fraud, both legally and otherwise. It's also a real douchebag move.
-In some countries that can make PSN accounts people are required to own a PlayStation, in some countries they need to take a picture of an ID card and send that in, together with info like bank card numbers. I shouldn't have to tell you why you don't want to collect bank card and personal info in the same place that is known for data breaches.
-The only game-related reason there was for linking the game to PSN was for the reporting/banning/appeal system, which there are other solutions for that aren't incredibly unpopular with the userbase.
-At the end of the day the PSN linking isn't required, and most people don't want PSN linking, if Sony forces PSN linking it's just to double dip and inflate their PSN numbers for investors at potentially our expense. We're not here for Sony, we're here for the game, Sony isn't here for the game and the playerbase, Sony is just here to make money.
Writing this out was probably pointless as I'm unlikely to change the opinon of someone who has already made up their mind that unnecessarily trusting Sony is a good idea, but hopefully you see why a lot of people are upset.

This is just residual from what was happening. CEO already addressed this stuff like two days ago. Steam is the one that removes them and Sony has to talk to them to get it reinstated back. The thing is, this has to do with policy. Removing these games from a country is wayyyyy easier then getting a game back into being sold into a country. People need to understand this. Not saying Sony isn't lying, I don't know that yet, you don't know that yet and Cloudplays clearly doesn't know that considering he's bringing up old news like it's news, or at least completely misinterpreting the situation. This doesn't show that they are or aren't. This is just steam doing this stuff and Sony needs to talk to them to get the game back into the counties. Again, much more likely than not, this is still just residuals from the PSN being required, since this is the reasons countries were being removed in the first place. God I wish people used their brains. At least a little more.

Sony still banning the game from countries is something I expected to my knowledge they haven't changed anything. They have still made it unavailable for purchase and adding more to that list, so that just means either later this year or next year psn will be implemented. Instead of them just doing what they did they're going to give players time so for example they may say starting next year it will be mandatory
I think what you will see is it not being a requirement, but they will tie skins or something to it to try and get players to sign up.
I'm not sure if Sony did it. Rather, Valve has banned the purchase of games from Sony, where Sony requires connecting accounts not have psn services. Banal protection of Steam from lawsuits.

rocket pods is definitely under rated. you can get 3 per restock and its capable of blowing armour off both striders and chargers (assuming you dont already onetap the charger). it does require more brain power then most things as you have to wait for the right time to stick it onto something or keep it in a small area for it to lock onto it but when it works it WORKS. if you mix it with a EAT, railcannon strike or quaser cannon you often dont need to worry about heavys at all. its alot less effective in automaton missions however it is still capable of ruining tanks and i swear at one point it landed in a aircraft spawner and destroyed it.
edit: its genuinely disheartening that i will join lobbies, pick rocketpods and most likely just get kicked because people assume it doesnt do any damage or its useless (similar to using smoke on automaton missions. it can stop the mission from being turned into ww2 but if you bring it your just kicked)

@@ijustbevibin0425 smoke doesnt kill chargers or titans, rocket pods do. and you can drop the pods amost ontop of you when a charger is chasing and be able to run away from the blast. however. i do feel a we rounded team has pods, smokes, Eats, autocannons etc. complimenting each other
One advantage of the rocket pods is their auto aim. I think it is not as strong as the rail cannon, but you don't have to be so precise about your aim when throwing it. But of course this can also end up in hitting the wrong target haha.
I wish they would hit a bit harder, because of their tiny area of effect, but they are definitely not useless.

I'm kinda liking the disposable tank killer, 70s cool down, 2 per call, plus the hell pod drop. I might use it more.
Also my favorite Stratagem in the future is the one they decided to nerf.

Helldivers has brought me and old friends back together, I've made new friends, and talked to peeps I haven't heard from in over a decade. I literally showed one of them their first stalker and bile titan last night. I'm lvl 104 as of right now, and he just hit 6. It brings me genuine joy to be there for new divers getting their shoes wet. I'm hopeful that sony will accept the L on this so we can get back to a global super-earth force, and get back to the most "democratically wholesome hellpit" that is this game.
my favorite stratagem is actually the eagle strafing run, its just too good at clearing that conga line of bugs chasing you when you need to reload
The closest thing to an A-10 Thunderbolt BRRRRTT we have in this game. If only it worked on tanks...

Could be why I had no help yesterday when working on the terminid order. Multiple times using the SOS beacon, no takers (though you CAN use them as a makeshift weapon against chargers that are ASKING for it)
Feels like Sony couldn't care what happens with the game any more now they have our money. Once the player base drops off all they have to do is switch off the servers.
My fav strat is the Eaglestrike: it brings the right amount of horde clear and structure clearing. As it can hurt armored enemies, not as reliable as 500kg to take down the really big 'uns, but it covers a greater area. I'm pretty sure I've seen direct hits take out chargers.
How did Sony lie? Did they say they were going to relist those countries?
When the walker first dropped, I was a higher level than most and was able to buy it. My brother and I like to answer distress calls and help others complete matches, so I would bring the walker and try to let every have a turn.
(It was sometimes a bit of a struggle due to it only having 2 drops).
But one match my brother and I got paired up with this little kid who had just bought the game. I gave him the walker and I swear, that kid was the happiest I’ve ever heard a kid be. We helped him get from level 3 all the way to level 10. He was a really sweet kid and, if you’re reading this buddy, thanks for giving me and my brother a good time.

fav stratagem is the Mortars , I always take one of each
rail cannon strike and eagle air strike, religously every mission then mix and match the other 2!

@@ashanisyra4784 oh 100% those two just solve all of lifes problems, well... when there not on cool down hahaha, i do sometimes try and change off them but honestly i find that the other 2 strats i take after that i take to try and fill their roll haha, i would however love for the spear to be one of my always takes again, dude i want the spear to work, and i can make it work but it shouldnt be that much effort, should be lock on fire and forget not inching ever so slightly just to get the lock on, but they've said their working on it so fingers crossed its sometime soon!!

@@jordenc8417 Yeah, the other two are situational usually. I like autocannon though I have to sacrifice my jump-pack mobility for it. So it's usually a toss-up between autocannon and EATs. Or a jump-pack and Quasar/EATs. I like being the "anti-heavy" guy
Sony is the publisher, they determine when/where the game is sold. They do not want to sell it everywhere as they do not want to sell future games in places without PSN. If they leave HD2 for sale in non PSN countries it sets a bad future precedent for them.
Arrowhead and Sony just need to chill and let this game be a great game.
I take the FAF-14 Spear with me on most missions. I go through roughly 12-20 shots depending the amount of fighting involved unless others bring more to fire.

Ever since the Sony attempt to make the PSN mandatory, I have lost my drive. I don't want to invest more time (and some money) into a game that looks like (again, with this slow country banning) trying to move again for the mandatory PSN accounts.
I'll play sometimes, but NOWHERE near what I was before... might also be a reason we failed that last Major Order, lack of concurrent players.
This gravity is not helping me dive.
Eveyone keepe sleeping on the hard working cluster bomb. You get 4 pre reload, takes out the grunts and maybe some of the heavier enemies (hive guards, devastators). It really puts in a lot of work for how much it cant take heavily armored enemies. Plus it cutw trees really good too.
Before going to the creek I would really love more than anything if they nerf my guns again.
This game has a month worth of hype left before it's uninstalled by everyone
I don't have a specific strategem I take - there's a rotating list of supports, something AT (EAT, Quazar, sometimes recoilless) and a backpack, often dog. Or against the bots, I often take the SPEAR.
Level 74, regularly drop in on the low level divers.
Drop in on you too occasionally (It's me, Old-Man-Great-Cthulhu)
Hard to complete an order when it's based on how much xp you get at the end of a mission, but you cant complete a mission because of constant crashes and bugs

If you read this: Please finish of the newly infested bug planets first. They are mostly halfway (or even more) liberated. 5 days will easily be enough to kill the bots. So don't let our progress on the mentioned bug planets be lost.

Heres a concept for a new weapon. A stim pistol essentially a medic gun. A single shot pistol that when shot at an ally has the same effect as a stim. Would be cool for someone wanting to play the medic role without taking away from the main weapons or stratagems

P..S please increase the enemy spawn rate plus quasar cannon does way to much damage. reduce by 15% and add 5 seconds to shot charge time and make 20seconds to shoot it again, thanks

My favorite stratagem : Reinforcements, beacuse use your friend to kill bile titan or factory strider is the best
Against the bots I love the jump pack and 380 barrage, basically run from hulks and foxholes with a base buster. For bugs it’s gotta be air burst strike with auto cannon, something that can make bug breaches a non issue and anything except a charger and bile titan easy to deal with

Sony paid for the game. Even if Arrowhead left, Sony would still own the ip.

I don’t like the current situation. If the PSN account issue is solved why the restriction on the 177 countries has not been lifted and on top of that they are adding more countries to the restriction. I am done diving until all restrictions are lifted. We dive together or we don’t dive.
I check on steam and helldivers 2 is still region lock. No changes at all. 😢
It was STEAM not sony that made helldivers unavailable in those regions in the first place. steam thought sony was going through with the psn thing and preemptively deleted helldivers from their store for those living in those countries
The one strategy I use a lot and that's about 98% of the time is the orbital laser stratagem it has literally got me out of a pickle many times in the past and when I get off of work today it's going to be me going into botsville and destroying some bots
Supply back pack is my fav right now. More ammo for me and the new warbond guns… and a great chance to help my fellow divers ( to run the quasar)
I think this needs a little more information, isn't it something Valve isn't responsible for?
The publisher has to talk to valve on where the games are distributed. Sony is telling them which country to sell and not to sell these games.
TLDR: Sony told valve to put the game up pretty much everywhere on launch, while knowing they were going to implement mandatory PSN linking. Later, when they actually tried to do this, they removed the game from countries where PSN accounts cant be aquired (which is now I think 180) even though they were sold there before.
Give the game a thumbs down or do some other form of protest until the restrictions are lifted so that arrowhead can actually talk with Sony. Currently Sony thinks they can just retry later and that is why they arent selling the game in those countries anymore, to reduce backlash the next time.

They are probably trying to figure out a way to allow people in those regions to be able to sign up to PSN, and they don't want to allow those people to buy the game until they resolved that issue. It is probably a complex issue. How do you allow someone to sign up for PSN when it might not be allowed in the country?

Why not have arrowhead make an account and alias players outside of sony regions with numerical codes to be on the par with sony and still have player coverage for banning players etc.? The only setback i see is the manpower to handle so many alias accounts.

Favorite stratagem is the Eagle Airstrike. High damage, wide area, heavy armor penetration, and manageable cooldown. What’s not to love?? 🦅
To address the country shut down issues. Basically, The moment Steam had to step in, it became a legal issue instead of an internal one. The current happening seem to be driven by Steam/Valve's lawyers to make sure they are not legally liable for Sony's actions before any other steps can be taken to resolve the issues that already existed.
Unless someone knows exactly what it takes to retract a restriction they planned on applying, then you have to give them a chance to make the changes. Identify the issue and let them know so they can address it. I doubt that anything is as simple as flipping a switch on/off. Shit happens, have patience. If it doesn’t get addressed and they don’t respond to the issue as identified, then we have a problem.
Given all the problem that have been going on recently. As well as the number of players we have likely lost. I’m not surprised we failed the last major order.

Yep the best thing with EXO SUIT (NOT "walker" :P ) is when You give it to new player ^^ I was using it, and i was enjoying it but most fun i have when i just summon it and text/say "take it and have fun" to new player :) Mostly they are so enthusiastic about it that it's better than using it for myself :)

The only thing worth a shit in the latest warbond from what I’ve seen is the pummeler, I was burned on the last one not getting polar patriots until arrowhead is done tweaking the weapons in it and leaves them alone long enough I feel confident they won’t be nerfed for a bit

My Go-To Stratagem is the Orbital Laser. I take it cause it is my 0H SH1T Stratagem when the Sh1t hits the fan (aka the 3 time use only "Get out of Jail" card).
Think Arrowhead hasn’t realized they’ve lost a decent portion their players, and continuing to push Major Orders on us at the same percent completion rate before the Sony debacle. Also, when I was running the bug major order I swear there was progress on my world, which seemed to resort back to essentially 0% when I returned from a mission. Did anyone else notice this? I was on Acamar IV at the time.

Smg, pistol and grenades is the only things worth getting from the warbond, the other weapons suck
I don't care about the bug front fighting the bugs just isn't fun. The guns we currently have don't seem effective at fighting the bullet sponge bugs.

Major Orders will be really difficult to finish now, especially because 177 countries is still unavailable to play, and god knows if they'll be able to, thanks to SONY. Its a stark difference to see 70-80k people on one planet versus the 120-140k we used to have before the shitstorm.

Arrowhead needs to adjust for the tens of thousands of people that quit playing so that our numbers count for more percentage added to major orders/liberations.
