That said, I still would be hesitant to give this car to a newbie right out of the box because of all the aluminum parts. I've seen a lot of comments that it can bend pretty badly in wrecks... and newbies tend to wreck a lot. Don't get me wrong. I absolutely LOVE this car, but think it may be better suited for intermediate drivers and above.
The transmitter has a throttle limiter, so it can be used by beginners. The dial is under the steering trim.
