  • Sunday Times Political Correspondent Aoife Moore and MP Sir Bob Neill join Muireann and Tommy to discuss the new British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak.
MP Sir Bob Neill believes the new Prime Minister is a very pragmatic man and is "all about delivery."
"He's certainly got the most credentials of any potential candidates."
Aoife tells Muireann and Tommy that she cannot see "any big scandal coming down the line like we could have seen with Boris Johnson."
Aoife says that Rishi Sunak is due to speak to the Taoiseach in the next few days, but that "nothing is sorted yet."
"If Stormont isn't restored by Friday, they (Northern Ireland) have to have an election. That's the law."

If you saw Rishi's father in law, the guy is the most down to earth guy there is. He drives a Skoda and eats at cheap restaurants.

A small correction - Rishi's father in law, Mr. Narayan Murthy is actually one of the pioneers with his company, Infosys being one of the early orgs to set a baseline for Indian Offshoring software industry in late 90s/early 2000s and NOT telecom. Am sure the host are doing the best but thought can share this for larger audience.

I am not British nor am I Hindu, but Peter, can you explain why did Britain rule India when none of your ancestors were born there? They were not the right people either, right ? It would be wise for some people to learn history and to think before uttering a word.

@@FridaRunghen the fact that the British King still officially rules Jamaica when he wasn't even born there. Yeah, but that's ok for dimwits like Peter.
