the first unused animation was very helpful as we only saw the black imposter being cold blooded and killing everyone
And that animation wich show black killing 2 people and gelling white good job, wich appeared on the trailer i bdlidve

In theory BF and GF are playing Among Us, and those Impostors and crew that we see are just players.
That ending represented that very well, anyway, we can't completely remove it as if it weren't canon.

This is the MOD where BF and GF died the most times, but I'm glad that it was actually BF and GF playing Among Us, so they are not quite real deaths hahaha.
Too bad the first unused scene wasn't used, it would have been a nice ending, in theory that ending tells us that the impostors won, but in the end it's just a friendly game, it's still a good ending.

The fact that the first cutscene of BF actually showing some props to Black + showing real sportsmanship to help him up was pretty cool! Maybe this was the REAL canonical ending to Finale and Story Mode as a whole. Though I'm a little sad it was scrapped but maybe in the upcoming hotfix update they'll add it in, fully animated and cleaned up.
It was supposed to be a cannon ending to finale.
All the lore with black and stuff was basically a amongus server.

The cutscene with white and black double killing is actually wholesome how black gives a thumbs up and white fist bumps him
I like how White flinched when Black put his hand out because Black sometimes kills the other imposters for some reason.

I like the cutscenes of black and also cutscenes of white! It shows more to their character.
Also showing that Black and White work as a team instead of just two impostors that are just there
1:25 is a really good cutscene. Even though it wasn’t finished, I feel like what was finished would’ve flew as a cutscene

It actually was supposed to be a Canon ending to Finale but was never finished as dozenwayhz left the team for a while and came back later but it was already too late to finish all the Cutscenws

Yo i love the first cutscene since it's canon that BF and GF are just playing Among Us with other players (except Black, who's an entity within the game) So seeing them all meeting as normal crewmates in the lobby like in og Among Us comgratulating eachother/celebrating who won would've been awesome, i hope we get to see this cutsxene in the upcoming hotfix
i like how instead of using the double kill mechanic they just made the charting really difficult

I'm guessing the cutscene at the start of the video was after the "Finale" song because it makes more sense than the song "Defeat"
Seeing it had some bad people in the crew probably could have meant it was at risk of being canceled like vs. Sonic.exe, MCM, or Lullabye, but seeing it Miraculously come out without any issue or controversy, joining the ranks of VS Tricky and even Indie Cross, sparks a bit of joy.
I'm happy how this mod turned out, and congrats to the developers!
VS Tricky doesn't even hold a candle to this. (That one's really good and it's certainly a classic but come on) It's definitely in the leagues of Indie Cross if not more

I love how some of these are fully fleshed out, you can tell this is a huge mod.

The only thing I didn't like about the mod was that they took away some well-animated cutscenes and replaced them with ones that had mediocre animations (just compare the cutscenes from week 2 and 3 and it's a huge difference) just to look funnier and also You could tell that in the cinematics of the leaks they had more history. But this is also not important because the whole mod is very well done and has very good songs.
Dozenrahyz was the ones making the cutscenes in the video, he left the team to work on other projects but came back layer. It was too late to finish the cutscenes he made so they went with Loggo's cutscenes. Kinda sad that parts of the story disappeared along with the cutscenes.
it wasn't "just to look funnier", the creator of the unused cutscenes left the team before they got finished.

i wouldnt mind the impostorm team taking a bit more time to release this, these cutscenes are incredibler
I still wish those cutscnes with Blue rushing in to save BF from Black made it in, but seeing that the IRIS icon makes an appearance there for some reason I can get why that got scrapped. But with that being said, I'm still really happy with how the mod turned out and while the cutscenes weren't super serious all the time I still enjoyed it for the laughs I got out of them.
Also that cutscne with BF being a good sport to Black after beating him is pretty sweet. It makes the events feel like as if it was just a game within a normal among us server who are just really good at RPing and not some alternate universe or something lol.

the fact after black is now no longer corrupted by the entity, as shown by the fact he's confused, doesnt have his red glowing eye anymore and is just more calm, while at the end of it RED has the red glowing eye black used to have so that would mean red is now corrupted by the entity
For some weird reason I was expecting a song about zeroyalviking and his friends. Don't know why but I ain't complaining. The fact that the crew managed to create such an amazing mod is just astonishing. Congrats to them and I hope the best for them
All of this was so cool! The animation ideas (Especially the White cutscene for Week 3... I wish that was added in tbh) were super cool as well! Would be great to see those animations restored someday.
For those who are unaware most of the removed songs are from people who left mid development or were removed due to controversy, a good place to learn some of this is the wiki but even then it's still decently hard to find out
Sucks that most of the cutscenes never got finished which resulted in the story changing drastically. Even though I love what they did it's still a shame to see all of this not make the final build (explains why week 3 is a bit 'scuffed')

the people did say in recds imposterv4 stream he was with the people who worked on the mod, they said that they had to reanimate the sprites SO MANY TIMES until it was just right

A lot of people misunderstood the first cutscene, so this comment is just to explain it. Basically black was a normal crewmate until a strange entity got into him which was hungry for blood. The cutscene is happening after finale, where black got into the lobby, which basically “reset” him. This is proven by one of the comics that was released.
Man,those cutscenes look sick, so sad they were cut (also i'm sad the old O2 wasn't kept, it's one of my favorite songs)

honestly, v4 of vs imposter is a blessing. I dont even like FNF or modding the game in general anymore, but i just find it amazing. The community will always find ways to push the game to its absolute limits, and most (if not ALL) songs are very well made!

It's because they were unfinished...
Even tho I would've loved to see most of this content in the final product, we should be thankful that the mod got finished in the first place, it's been a trend in the FNF community (especially with dev teams) that big mods get cancelled or unfinished because of drama and other situations that happen, so the fact that we got it this big and complete after a 2 year development period should be enough, the Impostorm team deserves a rest.

i find it sad that it took over 2 years to make v4 come out, they said there was 60+ songs, and on the moment of truth 90% of everything is scrapped, mostly what looks good too

Sad the cutscenes were cut. No offense to Loggo, but the cutscenes in week 3 were not good compared to the high quality of the other weeks (ignoring Week J) and felt massively out of place.
Maybe they were filler cut scenes and maybe in the future they will get replaced with a better one
