Better and slightly worse imo mainly better cause more positivity has been spread and more money than ever keeps being raised for charity I found out yesterday that over 40K euro’s was raised for charity from EF last year alone but worse because the bigger the fandom is getting the more drama is happening *cough* *litter box* and furry haters are shaming us for just being us furries so imo the fandom has gotten 90% better 10% worse
It's really interesting to see what it was like to be in furcon back then and i was only 5 years old. This march i will be going to a furry convention called Thaitails held in Bangkok, Thailand and it's gonna be my first flight and first overseas country (other then neighbouring countries) and i am so nervous cited!

When you have an event for 20 years, it'll grow and change. Stuff will improve, and stuff and people will grow. It is very fascinating to see how one of these oldest events have come so far. I do wonder tho how the growth is ruining fur cons 😝 this was my first FC so I can’t comment on this one, but I can definitely see other cons that have had some growing pains. But I thoroughly enjoyed FC and will absolutely be trying to go back next year!

I been only for 2 years on the furry fandom and a good goal overall should be to motivate more people to host their own local furmeets or small conventions because I find it really difficult finding and connecting to people irl that is in the furry fandom without having to drop an outrageous amount of money in traveling and spending a ton of time planning.

the thing abut FC when it comes to dealers, due to the increase of applications for dealers den (there being 135 spaces) of all the 800+ applications that came in for this years con, they chose the bigger/popular companies. sure they got artist alley to of course get smaller businesses out there, but one day ain't enough for them small businesses... so in a way they are kinda not supporting small businesses by bringing in the popular companies in order to get more of a crowd their way... so far its been like this since 2019/2020 as the small business scene is to almost zero. I apply every year for DD only to get turned down every year... (that includes fc 2021-2022 even though they did try to put up my info, they failed both years in putting my website link... and yeah...) I'm so glad that Pawcon's got my back... and all the other small businesses in my community... because its nice seeing local artists being presented at a con... like that should be the thing that represents the location in which the convention is being held at... almost kinda like a marketing family reunion for us at pawcon every year.
It was great to see you there, and great to be there! FC 24 was my first major furry con, and my second furry con overall. It was INSANE to see all those people, and talk about a parade! I was literally dying in the room just to take the photo because it took AGESSS. By the time we went to walk, I literally wanted to run the entire parade because I was literally getting heat exhaustion. Though, I managed to stick it through and finish without passing out! But overall, FC was pretty fun. I went back and forth a lot to go to a lot of interesting panels, and went to the dances too. Actually, I’m in some of your dance footage (I just wish I had my head on 😅). Thanks for making a video about FC and its evolution, and I hope you had a great time! (Though, that night market line didn’t look like one!)
Seeing that old fursuit made me happy! Not just because I love old fursuits, but because me and that old suit are the same age technically (born in 2004) 😅
I was one of the volunteers for FC this year plus it was my first con ever and OMG I had so much fun. Since I've seen so much about furcons in social media for a while, and FC is a local con to me (I am from San Jose) it was the perfect opportunity to go. Had fun in the game room, made new friends, met so many popufurs, and had so much fun in the pool toy party. It felt like FC is my Happy Place :)

My first furry con was FC 2004 my last time at FC was 2013. I got burned out on hotel cons. I have only attended two hotel cons since. My last year at FC I was ready to go home Sunday night but my flight was not until Tuesday afternoon. If I had driven to FC that year I would of been packed and gone early Monday morning.
I love dead bomb art. I got one of there shirts. At last years convention it was comicpalooza. And i loved the tiger suit head it actually what got my attention lol

Amazing video! Everytime I watch videos about furry cons, I feel a mix between happiness and sadness. Seeing everyone having a good time is so wholesome, wish I could have those moments too! There are no cons here where I live, and going to one in another country is VERY EXPENSIVE, and I also don't have any furry friends to talk (barely have any friends lol). All I can say is, whenever you go to a con where people have the same interests as you, cherish those moments. If you have friends that like the same things as you, hold them close to your heart. I’m considering going next year though this would be my first and only furry con thus far. However, looking at the footage I can anticipate how intimidated I’d feel to be there, surrounded by strangers who are rocking better suits than you and are far more comfortable to be socializing in large groups. No way. That’s not me and I know the juxtaposition of seeing things I usually see on the internet in real life would be jarring the entire time. I know I’m psyching myself out but damn, I know I’m no con goer

Yes… furry fandom has growth over the years. I’ve been furry since 2007 and meets and conventions have increased greatly. is it problematic for the fandom? Yes: more drama, more bad people enter the fandom, more bad publicity… but there’re so many new artist, merchandise, conventions, better quality fursuits, etc… I don’t know if this will last for several years or no, if the fandom will go on growing or this is the highest level it can get. For now, let’s enjoy this opportunity

Should it not be like, anime conventions are for anime cosplayers and furry conventions or meant for furries? I don’t care if I see a furry at an anime convention but from your thumbnail there should not be 100 at an anime convention.
