Any monsters can be special summoned or drawn with effect,but you have to tribute 3 monsters for gods and they get destroyed by effects

@@matty9460 "No protection whatsoever" is simply untrue. Something like Obelisk, for example, cannot be targeted and cannot have effects used when normal summoned. Now, they don't have good enough protection effects to justify using them, but that's different from not having protection at all

It's cool if you alternate often but I typically only play Kaiba, Crowler and Weevil. Sometimes Jaden and Chazz.
Character lines, 3d animations, switch to top down view;
saves so much time...

They do have the effect of them being special summon when they are special summon they are destroyed at the end of your turn

Obelisk cannot be targeted but it's not immune to certain traps, usually the ones that do not say "target a monster" in their description
Hmm I see.. strange I just watched an episode were Kaiba summons obelisk against the rare hunters in a tag team duel with Yugi and obelisk punches straight through there “Mirror Force”. Mirror force doesn’t mention the specific word “Target” and yet it didn’t work on obelisk. Does that mean cards like Raigeki and Dark hole would work on Obelisk because they don’t target?
A.A.S. WAWI see anime effects are different from real life effects. yes raigeki and dark hole(and mirror force) will kill obelisk in real life.

Shouldn't Osiris/Slifer reduce Obelisk's attack by 2k when it's summoned, even just for a turn?
When Ra, Obelisk, or Slifer, one of them is summoned, card effects get freezed
@@eccliptikk4757 But Slifer doesn't negate the summoning process, the -2,000 atk comes after, no? Granted, Obelisk is immune to other card effects, I just thought Slifer being another God card would bypass that for a turn, like in manga.
@@Cyberium maybe, but there is not only the immunity against negation, the effect says, that card effects can not be activated in reaction to the summon as well and slifers effect is a reaction to summons
The game doesn't treat it like a summon it just goes "Its always been there, hiding in someones fridge or something" It literally just puts it on the field and continues as if its always been there. Duel Links does not register Divine Advent as a Summon.

2 things: first, it's an npc yugi from a event even before Obelisk was available in DL, second, so their AI calls for defending against Slifer, second, it must be a monster with 2600 attack or more (aka dark paladin, but the AI is a little bit slow) cause of Slider effect
