You deserve it bro. I'm very grateful for all of the advice you've given us to motivate us to get started. I'm selling one of my rental houses later this month to fund the "tents, tables, and chairs" 😉
Mate, that is soooo good to hear, well well done to you. My wife an i just came across you and very similar starting backgrounds in events, and i was in a down mood and this has just hyped me up something special. And to see you hitting this milestone is one of the best things i've seen. Congratulations form the heart mate!!!!
Just saw this video pop up on my feed as I’m trying to get into this business. What is a good starting investment if you don’t mind? If you already have a video talking about how to start, please point me to it. Keep up the good work. 🙏
i love your videos! they motivate me a lot! but one question, i live in new england where it's cold for half the year, so do you think a business like that would work here?
@@therentalguy Hey Lee, I found a video where you said the love-letters are more of a hastle than anything else...Are you playing up the value of the letters just to make a couple bucks selling your CNC plans?

Hey Adam, There is a big difference between one sign that says love and having a whole separate portion of your business dedicated to multiple sales weekly on a product as versatile as the alphabet that can make any combination of spell-able signs. Love is for weddings but the alphabet caters to everyone who can spell. Plus my oldest 4ft love sign was too big. The 3ft plans that we have are made to maximize space. At the end of the day it’s up to you to market the letters and make the sale. I wouldn’t push a product just to “make a couple bucks” The only real answer to your question lies inside your ability to market the letters (and I have even made stock photos to help facilitate that). I hope you do what’s best for you.
@@therentalguyYou know what would be interesting since your very open with your Financials? If you showed us what the alphabet-letters cost you, and what your ROI was on the money spent over the summer. Then show what your ROI was for a similar dollar ammount spent on tables and chairs over the summer. If the letters are as good of an investment as you and Les believe they are then you could prove it.
Hey Adam, That isn’t the type of video that I make. There are too many variables to do a video that could hold weight for people building these. And to put them against tables and chairs is not fair. For me chairs and tables are an item that book out of customer necessity so the clients will automatically seek out the item. The letters get bookings by being advertised and seen (seldom do I get a booking from a custom that lands on my website specifically looking for decor). A decor company on the other hand might get customers coming in a greater volume for letters and have a less likely chance that people will be booking chairs from them. If you don’t have enough letters then people wanting to spell custom phrases might not book due to lack of inventory. This will make bookings potentially decrease. However somebody with 3 sets of letters might and probably will get a lot more work than somebody with 1 set. So like I said in the last comment it is all how you market yourself (or the letters) to a customer to determine sales. If your looking for numbers on letters. Here’s what went out how many times this year. R=29 E=22 O=20 &=18 L=18 M=18 V=16 A=16 S=12 B=11 K=7 D=6 Y=7 I=7 T=6 C=6 N=4 H=3 J=4 G=4 U=3 Z=2 F=1 P=1 W=1 Q=0 X=0 3ft Love sign = 27 4ft Love sign = 18 I hope you do well in whatever business it is that you choose. I live in Saskatchewan. It gets to -40 Celsius in the winters. I’d say you got this!
How many pop up tents do you have roughly, and do you have walls for all of them?
Thank you for the information 🙏 how do you do your marketing? With agency or by yourself
Here’s how I market my business 👉🏻 czcams.com/video/kYqFNICOAPQ/video.html
How well have the letters been renting? Maybe an update video??
Yes, the marquee letters are going good. As soon as off season hits I will be doing more videos on them!

What kind of pop ups tent??
Special event sales and Impac.
