When I found out my ex was cheating I confronted the man she was cheating with. He was actually her ex....when we spoke he said that everyone's wife is someone's whore. I've never felt so disrespected and enlightened at the same time in my entire life. But it was the absolute truth.
It really just boils down to the nature of one’s moral values. I feel like most people are pretty flexible with them due to how exposed they are to the nature of the world due to the internet. Knowledge of it gives a sort of power over it which allows peeps to be amused by it. People with more brittle values would simply be unable or unwilling to let the knowledge become a positive so they reject it, ignore it or prosecute it.
