    Ideally the system needs to be tested outside on a testbench for days before they go and turn it into a custom watercooled PC so they can pick up on issues. It seems in the persuit of turnover and profit they skimped on thorough testing.

      That's 100% makes sense, and also they should have followed different techniques to isolate and locate the cause of the malfunction

    I’m sorry you had a bad experience with that, I have just ordered a custom 4080 build so hopefully I don’t have any issues. I had a similar experience however with PCCG a few years ago. My motherboard was completely cooked. They were really good about it but and sorted it but it was painful waiting a few weeks for it to only have to return / replace it… makes you think if these pre-made builds are ever really tested.

    • @mrwogietalkie
      @mrwogietalkie  Před 6 měsíci +1

      well testing should be one of the methods to have a Quality check/control over the device before it is released to the customer among other things they can be done. but when you receive a faulty device, you really start to ask the same question you raise, "have they ever tested this or did that passed the quality control or check?". very hard and rare to find an honest party to take responsibilities for their actions and be a trust worthy. in my case, waste of time, waste of data and not even an apology 😁 it is an absolute joke from them. But again, What I have face doesn't mean it will happen to anyone but it can show only when things go south, what and who you are really dealing with.

    Usually aftershock has a rocky start but their customer service is great. I can’t speak for the Melbourne team but the team in Singapore is great. Almost every single person who has purchased from aftershock has had growing pains. It’s irritating but everyone has had their issues sorted and it is very future proofed. @Mr Wogie Talkie AMD platform its extremely unstable and unreliable. In the business sector, absolutely no one uses their products, including in servers' infrastructure. Water Cooling is good looking however it fails constantly specially in a custom loop. If you use a heavy coolant in color you must maintain it every 3 to 6 months (draining, cleaning, flashing, etc etc.) Go for a 13900K and fast ddr5 and a motherboard from MSI, if you are set on water cooling then the new NZXT AiO will be perfect for your needs. I am sorry to say but if you build with AMD you will be disappointed maybe not right away but give it week 🙄
