There's no strategy whatsoever. War became a routine "office work". Russian generals wasting a regiment of tanks for every captured small town. If you call it "effective" then idk.

True to form historically, the Russians started learning from their mistakes after an initial disastrous year or two and after suffering staggering losses.
Too bad they never learn anything proactively. This is a VERY expensive way to gain military experience.
Ukrainians must explain us why the defend every single house while lossing so many troops that they won't be able to counter attack again.
It's called PR, if they lose a lot of land they will be abandoned by the west faster
Zelensky needs to achive results with all this western money, weapons and ammo. Ukrainian soldiers are now basically Nato soldiers and it is hard to explain for Zelensky why his troops still cannot drive the Russians back by a lot. Because this means, that Nato itself would also not be able to. Keep in mind that Ukraine has way better soldiers than Nato and with equipment they are the best in the world beside Russian soldiers.
@@kontrollierteschaos4068I don't support Ukraine but I disagree. Russia have big advantage in the air. FAB's makes a difference. Ukraine have nothing similar BUT NATO have. You are writing like NATO have no air force at all. While it is main factor of NATO power. Ukraine is doomed anyway but let's not tell fairy tales.
@@XellosMaster Ukraine has or had air force aswell and bascially a lot of air defence (Patriot, Iris-T, S300). Its not that they dont have any planes or defence against planes or missiles. But against the Russians its like nothing. The Ukraine also now has Stormshadow, and ATACMS which in theory should egalize the FABs. Nato of course has a lot more jets but Russia also has a lot of planes bunkered. I think the only big advantage that Nato would have is at sea. Russia never had large fleets for a reason. The coast is just too big to defend by sea. They simply let attackers set step on land to fight them, because ships do not gain territory.
@@kontrollierteschaos4068Russia has invested in missiles, including surface-to-sea missiles, instead of a huge navy fleet. Like you said, what good are ships if they cannot gain terrority - if they approach, they got targeted by missiles and artillery

Strange thing happened to me. Last night I had a dream that I am on the front.
And me and our guys slept in the trenches.
Enemy came up while we were sleeping and they did not killed or took prisoners us ,but they damaged our weapons and they replaysed knives with spoons.
They past our traps wich or it were motorcicle helmet (for what ever reason idk). Enemy removed explosives from the helmet and put woman sock on it.😂

Can someone please explain to me why having the high ground matters in modern war.

Whenever you have high ground you are able to see more .. shoot at long distance targets .. and even such small things as gravitional pull plays a huge role in these scenarios .. going up hill is always problematic .. try sometimes an airsoft or paintball and you will see how much it changes the game when someone has a higher ground

Based on what? Even with massive Western help they can barely hold Russians at this pace of gaining 5 km per month in the Eastern front. Ukraine simple can't regain lost land and if they avoid direct peace talks with Russia they will lose more land (and more importantly thousands of young men and destroyed towns) as time pass.

What we now see is that Ukraine’s defensive strategy build on trenches, villages and towns is in contradiction to the use of western tanks Abram’s, Challenger Leopards. These weapons facilitate rapid movements. Nowadays if they are used its in ones or two’s. The Bradleys have been more effective I think because they have tactical significance towards trench warfare.
Its become apparent the Ukraine with its trench villages and towns strategy cannot stop the Russians. They continually and intelligently nibble away taking Pawns as in a defensive chess game.

Ukraine is losing 1,700 (KIA and seriously WIA) every single day. It's 51,000 a month. It's simply unsustainable. On the other hand Russians are 9 miles away from Pokrovsk which is the main logistical hub. When it falls, quite likely we'll see a domino effect.

Legitimate question for you weeb if you happen to see this, we have seen FAB-3000, when/why will we see FAB-5000 or FAB-9000 ?
The higher the load the shorter the range. Russia has these bombs but the problem is they can't reach far.
Russia slowly develops gliding technology that increases the range of lower yield bombs (fab 500-1500) and make larger yield bombs viable (fab 3k-5k) etc.
If we increase these bombs length and maybe reduce thickness then it is possible to reach further distances.
