@@someoneshappyness If the FOH engineer was using a decent pitch correction effect, then it was set far too aggressively, causing seamless portamenti to become stepped glissandi. Or in other words, it caused his voice to sound robotically on-key and made pitch bending sound choppy. It could also just be a crap effect.
This is one of the best version i’ve heard, not only for his voice (he doesn’t detune) but the character and agressiveness that recquires this song, amazing!!!

Don’t compare artists!! Both are great and talented in their own ways and both have achieved things in which they deserved so don’t bring down popular artists just so your favourites seem better when they are both as good as each other. In my opinion they are incomparable anyway. Not to sound rude or anything though :)
@@emmaingeneral2413 You realize you put them on some kind pedestal above other artist when you called them incomparable ? you're kind of doing what i did , otherwise everyone is literally comparable, this comparison that just seems like i'm playing down and artist actually sheds light on neglected ones especially when they supersede them in talent , i think it's unfair not to do so or even object to it, in my home country actual legends have died in stardom but still alive in flesh because of this, legends who started the actual musical movement in our region, absolutely unmatched voices, still alive ! in their 80's completely forgotten by previous generation and unknown to new one, while lesser artist in every aspects who have better marketing skills than talent get all the glory, i will NEVER shy away from putting a worthy talent on top of a lesser one by name .
