I think this might be older than 1993, Gareth. Tango had really gone all-out with their quirky advertising by that point (the face clap, the exploding granny, etc). This is probably around 1991 or early 92, judging by the advertisement for the VHS of Memphis Belle.
I wonder how much Burt got for that British Gas commercial. I remember thinking it was odd at the time, but he wasn't really A list at that point. It must have been around the time he did Cop and a Half.
I was in some poncey lady's gaff the other day thinking about Crunchy-nut Cornflakes... because wouldn't it be funny, right... If it said Crunchy-nut Cornflake... then that would mean one Crunchy-nut Conrnflake... and then it would be a missprint, right? That's the end... I wasn't... thinking.
