Valet parking doesn't make sense if you have to assist in every aspect of it. If they need you to shut off the car, you might as well park it yourself.

These valet drivers are making me nervous. They should leave the option as a Casino for the driver to park the car on their own and take the keys with them. Driver can tip them for their "assistance during the park job" anyway but handing them over the car keys and a car itself makes no sense ..
most cars are rented for the day. valets much more familiar with them.
